Rosie Mae's Alpaca Farm and boutique
550 Old Birmingham Hwy, Chattanooga, TN
Crema's Take
“Rosie Mae's is a charming independent coffee shop that doubles as a working alpaca farm, where you can sip genuinely delicious coffee while feeding friendly alpacas for just $2 a bag in a relaxed, no-pressure setting. The shop itself is cute and meticulously clean with a curated boutique, but the real magic is stepping outside to interact with the animals and the warm, genuine hospitality from the staff. It's the kind of off-the-beaten-path spot in Chattanooga that feels like a special discovery—perfect for a quiet morning or a memorable family outing.”

Four stars because the service was not great. The Alpacas were super friendly and easy to access though! They have quite a few of them and you can let and feed them. The bag of food was cheap. The shop was also super cute inside.
The cutest coffee shop with a fun addition of the alpaca farm. The alpacas were very friendly and the feed bag was only $2 and we got plenty of feeds for the $2 feed bag. The coffee was delicious and customer service was excellent. The overall experience was so enjoyable. Family friendly as well as they had a few games for the family to play outside while sitting amongst the alpacas. A must go!
Relaxing place with great coffee, cute boutique and soft alpacas hungry for you to feed them for $2 a bag. No entrance fee, free parking. Nice family outing.
Can't say enough about this cute little place!!! First the girl working the counter is so nice, so friendly sorry I didnt catch her name but cute cute hair blue/pink. She was so friendly made our trip and the alpacas are just darling!!! We loved everything about this place and cant wait to come back.
Very cute and off the beaten path coffee shop and alpaca farm. We stopped in on a Monday when there were pop up rain showers. The store itself is very cute & clean. The alpaca items were a little pricey for me, but others may enjoy. We tried a couple of hot pumpkin spice lattes which they had as a Fall special. They were delicious! Not too sweet. The younger female employee was very sweet & working hard by herself. We bought a couple bags of alpaca food for $2 a bag and headed out to the barn to see the alpacas. Because of the rain they had retreated into the barn and we weren’t entirely sure that we could walk around the perimeter of the fencing to get back to the barn but we could! We must have been the only people who realized because everyone else was sitting upfront by the store waiting for the alpacas to come out into the yard area. My mom and I went into the barn and were able to spend time alone feeding them the bags of food. The alpacas were very well cared for. They were clean and you could tell their nails are regularly trimmed. They were very friendly and only one tried to nibble on my hand. But a fun fact about alpacas is they only have bottom teeth! I did have a couple of them spit food on me. It was a good laugh though. So just watch out for that 😂
