Friendly and efficient service every time. Lattes are smooth, creamy, and better tasting than the equivalent at Starbucks. Tons of drink and syrup options, including mango and sugar-free caramel. Fantastic.

Love the service and the drinks. I would recommend going here. I haven't tried out the food. I'm sure the food will taste great. The price there is actually cheap.

Decided to finally try Java City at Sac State. Got a small chai latte that was delicious.

Bad coffee, worse customer service. I ordered a cappuccino, received a latte. I kindly asked them to remake it and specified how, the barista handed me another latte. I had to ask her manager to correct it. I finally got what I paid for: a cappuccino. But not before they were very rude about the matter... What barista doesn’t know the difference between a cappuccino and a latte? Will not be returning. I’ll endure the line at Starbucks instead.

Coffee is not quite as good as starbucks but still pretty good and much cheaper. I've also had some of their bagels which are cheap, tasty and come in a huge variety of flavors.
