Crema's Take

Bedda brings a genuinely relaxed neighborhood vibe to San Diego with thoughtfully executed traditional coffee drinks and a full breakfast menu that earns real praise for quality and value. The dog-friendly space feels designed for lingering—whether you're catching up with friends, working through a Sunday brunch, or just settling in with good coffee and pastries—though service can be leisurely when it gets busy.

This spot is a very welcomed addition to the neighborhood. Service was fast, food was hot, delicious and fairly priced! Highly recommend for a little walk, breakfast, good coffee and friends. Dog friendly too!

Came here for brunch on Sunday and left pretty happy. The place had a nice relaxed vibe, not too loud and not too crowded when we got there. I ordered the omelet with potatoes and everything tasted fresh. My friend got pancakes and said they were soft and really good. Coffee kept coming, which I always appreciate lol. Service was friendly, maybe a little slow once it got busy, but nothing crazy. Prices felt reasonable for brunch these days. Overall a solid spot if you want a chill meal and decent portions.

From what I understand this place just recently opened... and it feels that way. I was there for the San Diego Bookstore Crawl this past Sunday. Service is slow, food delivery was also slow. We had a limited time, due to being on the shuttle, and we shared this with our Server. I ordered the 'Classic Eggs Benedict' it is NOT Classic and the menu doesn't describe the Eggs Benedict either BTW I asked to substitute the ham for bacon... this did not happen. Although I was charged for the side of bacon - they brought it out and it looked like ham, the same ham that was on my Benedict. Topped with beautiful parmesan flaks on a bed of Mashed Potato patty, the Hollandaise sauce was thick and taste more like gravy than a sauce. Also I think my instructions were lost in translation. My fellow shuttle companions ordered the Mediterranean Grill and they demolished it... this is a good sign, because they said it was delicious! I asked for a chocolate muffin to-go, which they forgot to charge me for... I guess it all works out in the end. Street parking are your options here and there was a wait when we arrived. They had live music when we first got there but they packed up and left before our entree was served. I think they are still working the kinks out. Next time I will chose another place to have lunch. Respectfully Reviewed.
