Crema's Take

East Bay Coffee Co. transforms seamlessly from a focused espresso bar into a vibrant social hub, complete with a full bar for evening cocktails and trivia nights that energize the whole space. Their avocado toast arrives genuinely loaded and their lattes are expertly pulled, paired with an atmosphere that's warm and attentive even when the place gets packed during breakfast service. Whether you're settling in with your laptop for hours or swinging by after work with colleagues, this Richmond gem feels like the kind of place that actually wants you to stick around.

Hip place with great service. I was looking for a coffee shop to read and get a pastry or small dessert. It was trivia night and the cafe was in mode, it's one of those new transformers! Atmosphere and staff super pleasant. Not conducive for reading but I did enjoy the drip coffee and a skillet cookie. So good. I kinda thought that may be the case... Consolation prize was awesome. 👍

Everything was delicious! The toast was fluffy and loaded with avocado (basically a whole avocado), a perfect latte, and some dope art

Came here for coffee and breakfast and then again for happy hour around 4:30pm with co-workers. Breakfast service is a bit chaotic because it's rather busy. They got our order wrong but fixed it right away. The Belly Up sandwich is really hearty and good. Highly recommended. The happy hour vibe is much more relaxed with great service. The espresso Martini is excellent, the pisco punch is a bit too sour for my taste. The Onion fries, fried cauliflower and glazed pork belly are all very good, although the portion of the pork belly is small. All in all, best place in Pinole for coffee, breakfast and drinks.

It gets packed in here , but its a nice vibe. Good strong coffee, tasty bites of food and affordable. Good place to bring your laptop and work. Full bar as well for an evening cocktail .

I now have a new favorite coffee shop, this one! The service attitude is second to none. Very attentive. Our server was so kind. My vanilla late was on point, but the biggest surprise was the outstanding flavor of the breakfast sandwich. The fresh bun, real eggs with yoke was fresh, and the sausage was wow, delicious. I recommend you take the time to try this place out.
