Crema's Take
“Tucked into a charming New Orleans neighborhood, this locally-loved cafe strikes that perfect balance between a serious coffee destination and a welcoming community gathering spot where you can linger over breakfast without feeling rushed. The owner's genuine hospitality sets the tone, and the kitchen clearly takes pride in their work—from perfectly executed shrimp and grits to creative sourdough sandwiches and a coffee program that matches the quality of the food. It's the kind of place where visitors instantly understand why regulars keep coming back, blending excellent specialty coffee with the kind of warmth that makes New Orleans so magnetic.”

What an absolute charming place tucked into the neighborhoods of New Orleans. Owner was fantastically friendly it was a short wait to get in for brunch. After going in and eating I can see why. Their regular menu items had a nice variety of of choices. I went with their special of the day Grillades and Grits. It was cooked to perfection. Savory and satisfying. Not too overpowering with any one flavor. It was just the right dish to warm up on a rather chilly New Orleans day. I would highly recommend going to this place . Wait staff was delightful and prices were very reasonable
Food was very good! It was hard to choose something! Loved the style of the place, and the neighbor across the street had these adorable smoking snowmen in their tree. The coffee was also fantastic! Adding this as to our list of regulars for our future trips!
Here in New Orleans for a good time not a long time, and my service upon entering was AWESOME 😘 I had the shrimp & grits, and sausage egg & cheese on sourdough 😋 deliciousness. Staff was very hospitable and welcoming 😝
Our server and the owner were very accommodating. They were so nice and had the best costumer service. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh .I highly recommend stopping by and seeing them. We had a group of 22 women. Our server was so incredibly funny and was the best server ever.
We are in town for the weekend to watch the Saints vs Patriots game and were trying to find a locally owned establishment to support before heading that way. I got the WhoDat big breakfast while my wife had the Bywater Benè coupled with an iced Matcha latte & let me tell you they DID NOT disappoint! The atmosphere was very chill on a somewhat quiet corner with plenty of street parking nearby. Our server Gary was great! We will definitely be return customers every time we are in town!
