Crema's Take

Bay Coffee & Tea Company is a convenient airport pit stop in Tampa Terminal A with a dedicated seating area and accessible tables, though it's worth being realistic about what to expect from the food offerings. Their espresso drinks and cold brew are serviceable for a quick caffeine fix, but reviewers consistently warn against the pastries and sandwiches, which tend to disappoint with quality that doesn't match the premium airport pricing. If you're catching a flight and need a reliable coffee in a quiet spot, it'll do the job—just skip the food and grab your drink.

Ordered a plain bagel and it was like a cheap grocery store bagel that tasted like paste. What’s worse was they couldn’t even provide real cream cheese, just the gross spread in a mini tub.

Bait and switch. You won't get the beautiful sandwich shown on the board. You will get a flat hot panini. No lettuce. No tomato. No mayo. No mustard or anything good. When asked, they said they don't have the cold sandwiches anymore. Had to choke it down since it was all I had. 🤢 Iced coffee was OK.

I ordered an iced latte with oatmilk. Let’s just start with the oat milk being $1.25 so my drink totaled about $7 with tax. I know it’s the airport but damn, it better be good you think? Nope. It tasted like watered down milk. I couldn’t taste espresso at all. I might as well gotten almond milk if I wanted a watery flavor. Oat is meant to thicken the drink as a close similarity to whole milk minus the cow part. I will not return. I should’ve went with my gut and just waited til I landed. If you like watery coffee, do it but I’d say just find a Starbucks 🥺🫠

Avoid the chocolate muffins at all cost even if they're handing them out for free just say no! They are so dense and dry you could throw it at someone and knock them out. Also I tried the banana and exchange it was slightly better but still not what you think of. The girl at the food counter was very kind though

Great quiet coffee and pastry stop at Tampa Airport terminal A with its own seating, accessible tables and chairs, some high tops and right across the airport walkway from some great lounge chairs. SO many pastries and hugest muffins that go great with coffee stirred with almond milk and hot brewed tea. YUM.. Good service here today. A quiet relaxing venue, a welcome change from the high priced-long line places. Accessible venue Accessible paid airport parking in short-term, long-term, and valet, and economy parking.
