came on Valentine's day and got the tart (in picture) which was delicious but $28 and no bigger than my hand. there was no price tag online or in display and other prices seemed reasonable so my partner and I were shocked when our total for two very milky matchas and one tart was $43. more expensive than many other full meals available in this place or others
Came here on my trip to Hudson, NY on a Saturday afternoon. Here is my honest review: Unfortunately I have to start this review out with there was hair found in our Shakshouka dish. The servers just took it and replaced it fairly quick like nothing happened. (Think the staff should have addressed it a bit more) The short rib hash was just average and a bit on the dry side. Thankfully they had some hot sauce to add. Fried chicken was seasoned but not seasoned evenly (see photo) so not all bites were the same. Aside from the food, the actual restaurant looked nice with a sit down bar area in the front, the fireplace was nice in the inside and the outside seating looked nice as well.
Sunday brunch in the back patio mostly enclosed greenhouse feel. Beautiful and cozy. Loved the French toast, the breakfast sandwich. Would recommend
On our driving trip to upstate NY and Mass last Sept, we found this nice place to have breakfast. Right on the main street so easy to find. We ordered omelets, fried eggs, bacon,- the usual breakfast stuff. Food came out fairly fast and was hot so we were happy. Coffee was also quite good. We will definitely stop here again the next time we are in Hudson.
The food was absolutely outstanding. The leeks in the croque madame were a really nice and delicate touch. The French Toast is unbelievable! The inside is so soft and custard like with a hint of lemon and vanilla. The curried lentils are really good too. The young lady helping us was very kind and sweet and made some great recommendations!
