Espresso Yourself Coffee & Cafe
5351 Devonshire Ave, St. Louis, MO
Crema's Take
“Tucked into St. Louis's historic Hill neighborhood, this owner-operated spot fills the gap between serious espresso bar and welcoming community cafe with genuine warmth. Their signature moves are inventive cold brew variations like Banana Foster and Cinnamon Roll, generously-loaded build-your-own breakfast bowls and burritos, and a smart touch that sets them apart: coffee ice cubes that won't dilute your drink. The calm, eclectic atmosphere and genuinely friendly staff make it feel less like a transaction and more like dropping by a friend's kitchen for something really good.”

This is a great neighborhood cafe for coffee and a lite breakfast. I really enjoy the Nutella capacino and the Cinnamon roll cold brew. I had the Build Your Own Breakfast a bacon egg and cheese croissant. I tasted the burrito and it is very good as well.
We met one of the owners on a food tour of the Hill here in St. Louis. She invited us to check out her shop the next day. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere is calm quiet and eclectic. On top of that the coffee and food is absolutely excellent. If we weren't from out of town, this would become a favorite spot.
OH.MY.GOODNESS! After discussions and movement of choices, my daughter and I went to Espresso Yourself today. The latte's were delicious and for the first time EVER a shop offers coffee ice! Will be back. They are on the corner amongst residence so parking is a bit 'crowded' on the street. But this gem is worth it!
Such a cute place with a cozy vibe. Their coffee is great and I loved the breakfast bowl I got ❤️ definitely worth getting the coffee ice cubes as well if possible.
Outstanding build your own breakfast burritos and bowls! LOTS of egg in both (which was great and made them extremely filling options). Banana fosters cold brew was unique (it had real banana in it) and delicious! It had real banana flavor, as opposed to typical, fake, “banana laffy taffy” type of banana syrup flavoring. Ari’s Light latte was also delicious. Larger than average list of specialty lattes. Very friendly staff. Nice ambiance. Attached to sandwich shop next door, so there’s plenty of indoor seating available. Some outdoor seating as well. Highly recommend!!
