Crema's Take
“This St. Louis roastery is beloved for its in-house roasted single-origin beans and creative house drinks like their standout chocolate mint latte and caramel bourbon latte that keep people nostalgic long after they leave. You'll find a genuine neighborhood vibe here with the option to linger over a slow pour over or zip through their efficient kiosk ordering system, and the consistently excellent staff makes every visit feel like a special trip rather than just a quick caffeine run. Whether you're grabbing a bag of beans to take home or settling in to experience their espresso-focused menu, Sump delivers the kind of quality and care that makes it worth seeking out.”

Easily one of the best coffee shops in St. Louis. Sump roasts their coffee in-house and always has interesting single-origin beans. I usually grab a bag to take home or give as a gift and get a latte for myself. There is a reason this place is considered the King of coffee shops in St. Louis. Absolutely love it here.
Great Place! A true vibe. Amazing coffee. A must visit!
One of the best coffee shops I've ever been to. Best chocolate mint latte I've ever had. Whenever I'm not in STL, I feel nostalgic for their coffee. Excellent beans and great staff.
Went to Sump coffee for the first time ordered cappuccino and iced coffee to go. Fast service was able to order from a kiosk. No outdoor seating. Available parking on street. Both drinks were tasty and quickly prepared and served. There is an option of getting the receipt emailed. Will definitely be going back for coffee soon. Recommend to friends and family. If you're looking for a good place for a coffee date, this is a place to go in St. Louis city.
High quality coffee drinks, staff, and location. Really cool stop and worth a special trip, or if you’re just passing by! Would definitely visit again. My companion and I loved the Caramel Bourbon Latte and the Dirty Chai as well. The one thing I would question is that I’m pretty sure they said they use only light and medium roasts. Why not the superior dark? You couldn’t tell most of the drinks but we definitely noticed the difference with the cold brew we took to go. In any case, they have a really cool aesthetic going on in there as well, definitely one of the better coffee shops in Saint Louis.
