Humongous bakery with so many options to choose from. They have both fresh pastries and packaged goods that are great for gifting. The interior is well decorated and there is so much to explore. They do not accept credit card for small orders and take Venmo or Zelle instead. The pastries all tasted yummy and are very affordable, of overpriced at all.

I visited the Kee Wah Bakery at 1010 S. Baldwin Ave on Thursday morning. The Bolo Buns were absolutely delicious. This is the one place that gets the crunchy top just right. The employee who assisted me was kind and efficient, and she even let me know that while they usually receive fresh bread at 10 AM. While the delivery hadn’t arrived that day, she reassured me that their bread stays fresh for 3–5 days. However, I did experience something concerning. While helping another customer behind me, the same employee suddenly began CLEANING HER NAILS. She was picking underneath her nails. I was shocked! No gloves, using her bare hands, and she cleaned her nails with the food in front of her and everyone watching. A good thing is that everything I ordered was prepackaged. But the customer who got their order cut with utensils..... She was using bare hands, NO GLOVES. Additionally, the cashier at the front did not seem very pleasant and appeared to be having a rough day. Despite this, I still plan to return because their Bolo Buns are excellent. But I sincerely hope management will ensure that staff wear gloves when handling food and avoid cleaning their nails or engaging in any unsanitary actions while preparing customer orders. I’ve attached a photo of my receipt for reference.

Wow sooo buttery and delicious flakyness!! It definitely feels very fattening to be eating their pastries but man they taste GOOD!! My favorites are the Chicken pie, Curry Pork pie, and BBQ pork pies. They are a bit pricey at $3.40 each but soooo delicious!!! It’s cute inside and decorated well according to the season. Parking on the street/no where to eat.

Ordered adzuke mooncakes and coffee cashew cookies online last month after seeing an ad on FaceBook. The tin they arrived in was gorgeous! Cookies had a creamy flavor I wasn't expecting and it took a lot of willpower not to eat them all! Not being privy to mooncakes, I wasn't sure what to expect. The filling was more dense than I thought it would be and boy were they HEAVY! But finally got to eat them over the weekend and they are so delicious! Saved the website and planning on buying again when I can justify the purchase! They even sent a nice bag with my purchase!

This is a fantastic Chinese bakery. I love their warm chicken and BBQ pork pies which are very flaky and buttery. Also their egg tarts are delicious as well. Can't wait to try some of their other offerings. Friendly staff and easy online ordering. Free parking in back.
