Monarch Donuts

All I can say is that these donuts are the best things that I have ever tasted. If you haven't tried one you are really missing something. They melt in your mouth. I think the owner is an angel because the texture and taste is heavenly. Get there early before they run out.

Well!!!! That was an amazing experience. I asked Google Maps to find me a donut store this morning and it took me here. They were technically closed ..,.because as I found out they sell out every morning… but the owner, Jonathan came to the window. He offered a variety of gorgeous donuts that were boxed up for an order. They were all, big gorgeous pastries. I chose the cinnamon crumble. Coffee was perfect. The donut was the most fluffy and perfectly moist donut I’ve ever had and the crumble was so fresh delicious. Jonathan proceeded to ask me questions and told me his personal story about his mom and how he got here. It was a God moment and a lesson on the importance of caring about people, loving God and keeping your focus on what actually matters in life. …all from googling where to get a donut. He slipped this paper with his history and mission in the bag. Thanks for the unexpected blessing. I’ll be back.

I always notice this shop when I drove by, but it was always closed. I was being curious, and found out that this donut shop only opens a few hours a day. Out of curiosity I stopped by around 6am, and there were 4 people (including myself) getting donuts. The owner was very friendly, and he asked what brought me here. I told him that I was curious about the donut, and his hours interested me. A lady behind me recommended me to try their apple fritter, and I got it. The owner shared the story about this donut shop with me briefly, and it is a very touching story. He is very personable to his customer. Owner suggested that I can message him if I would like to order donuts for future. I have never been to a donut shop that provides this kind of service. The Apple fritter is very fresh, soft, not overly sweet, and tasty! It will be perfect to pair with coffee. The owner gave me a printout about this donut shop. I will continue to support. Street parking is available.

A friend refered me to this small Donuts shop, when I arrived here at 8 am,most donuts have gone already.Jonathan made two beautiful sprinkles for me and teach me how to do it. The donuts are amazing and Jonathan is great,thank you for giving the city more taste of sweetness!
