Crema's Take
“This espresso-focused Atlanta gem has earned its loyal following with meticulously pulled shots that showcase excellent bean quality and careful roasting, paired with an impressive lineup of specialty drinks like perfectly crafted cortados and matcha lattes. The baristas genuinely care about their craft and customers, offering thoughtful recommendations in a beautiful space that's equally welcoming whether you're settling in for hours or grabbing a pastry on your way out. It's the kind of neighborhood coffee shop that feels like a discovery the moment you walk in, even if you somehow missed it until now.”

How have I missed out on this place until now? The cortado had perfectly pulled shots of espresso, and the matcha was excellent. The baristas were very friendly and the space is incredible. I'll be back soon!
Good Hot Coffee -I'm a little biased about East Pole, mainly because I've never had a bad experience. The staff is very kind and open to making suggestions and recommendations. There's usually more space at the Armour Yards location, but you definitely want to visit the Virginia Highlands location when in the area.
I believe , I have finally found my new coffee space! This is my first time here, and I am so glad I was able to make it here. I’ve tried the drip coffee- and I’ve joined the loyalty program. I wished there were pastries to try (there weren’t any when I arrived), however, I did bring a granola bar with me to have with my coffee. There’s plenty of street parking , and the baristas are very kind and friendly. I shall be back.
Espresso was good. You can tell that the beans are good quality and the roasting is done well. How's the espresso had almost no crema and also not very hot. My advice: increase the temperature and figure out how to get some crema. Great atmosphere.
Amazing specialty coffee shop. I tried the espresso and they dialed it in perfectly. Lots of great flavors and no bitterness. The pastries were amazing. We had the chocolate croissant, blueberry muffin and another pastry with some jam on it. The space is wide open and very nice inside. You can also watch them roasting their coffee which is really fun. I highly recommend this spot if you love espresso, a good cortado or lattes!
