We had the absolute best experience hosting our private event at Hungry’s - Rice Village! From start to finish, the team was incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. They made the entire planning process feel seamless and stress-free. Edwin truly went above and beyond to take great care of us and our guests. He was attentive, professional, and made sure every detail was handled perfectly. The space, the food, the service everything exceeded our expectations. We loved having our event there and couldn’t have chosen a better spot. I highly recommend hosting a private event at Hungry’s in Rice Village. You and your guests will be in the best hands!
Beautiful patio. Welcoming and friendly staff. Food came out hot and delicious. Would recommend for brunch. Limited self parking but there’s complementary valet.
We really love Hungry’s — it’s our go‑to spot in Rice Village. They offer plenty of vegetarian options, which is always a plus. If you’re craving a vegetarian wrap, they can easily make the Baja Chicken Wrap with the Iceberg Wedge Salad vegetarian by swapping the chicken for falafel. Their fire‑roasted tomato basil soup was also incredibly delicious. I’d definitely recommend this place. There are a few self‑parking spots available, but if you can’t find one, you can park in the Rice Village garage.
Although their parking situation did not welcome me kindly- I parked at a parking spot that had no cones and had to walk back to my car and repark because it belonged to valet. Mind you, there was no sign or a way of me knowing. The attendant told me that “everyone knows” and me being there the first time is supposed to be a mind reader, I guess. He didn’t want me “to damage valet guests cars”. Yup. No comments. Their Self Parking area is smaller than Valet, so getting a parking spot there is a sport. However, our time at the restaurant was amazing. Avery was the kindest. Exactly what I needed after the workout at the parking. Food was incredible and Avery was able to answer all our questions about meals, drinks and deserts. Loved it.
The food is always fresh and well prepared and tastes great. Nice menu with vegan options. I ordered the Eggplant Tacos and they were fantastic. My partner ordered the gyro plate and he loved it! The service was great!
