Neutral Ground Coffee House
5110 Danneel St, New Orleans, LA
Crema's Take
“Neutral Ground feels less like a coffee shop and more like a friend's living room, where impromptu music sessions and table games happen naturally over expertly made drinks. The vibe is genuinely unpretentious—locals and visitors mix in a space that captures something special about New Orleans' collaborative spirit, with musicians jumping behind the bar and everyone pitching in. Just remember to bring cash, because this cash-only gem runs on the kind of warmth that tips can't quite measure anyway.”

Nice new space! Same good jams...
Neutral Ground is reopening in a new location at 9000 Hickory Ave. I can’t figure out how to update Google, or I would!
Open music mic on Sunday’s. Super chill vibes, sorta reminds me of summer camp. Impromptu everything. People just jump behind the bar to make you drinks, no one knows anything, everyone knows everything. I loved it. Very LGBTQ friendly
Great atmosphere, music and people. A great way to experience local New Orleans
Nice place with lots of character and very atmospheric. They have table games, card games, feels like you stopped by your friends house. Make sure to bring cash to leave a tip for the musicians.
