Tanisha’s pistachio latte is a 10/10 amazing ; and Rakel had amazing customer service. Definitely a 10/10 place to enjoy. I was not the happiest camper but the young ladies were very helpful. Dragonfruit refresher 10/10 Tanisha is the girl to make it happen !

We visited Qaaliis in Newark, NJ on a beautifully warm Fall night and had such a wonderful experience! The hot pistachio latte was absolutely delicious rich and perfectly balanced. The baklava was honestly one of the best we’ve ever had, flakey, fresh, and full of flavor. My son even got to play chess with one of the staff members, who was incredibly kind and even offered us some free baklava! Overall, it’s a fantastic cafe, We’ll definitely be coming back!

100% Halal! I had the spinach walnut pastry, dubai chocolate cake and the hot latte. The latte was delicious. The pastry was mid and the Dubai chocolate cake was warmed up but still cold and also tasted old and burnt. It is a very cute spot and clean bathroom, give it a visit!

Ive become a regular at Qaalis-its so nice to have a proper coffee shop in Newark! The espresso is strong and they have a diverse menu. However it’s clear they are still figuring things out. Staff still needs proper training- there have been multiple issues. On one occasion, the barista forgot to make mine and another customers drinks. We ended up waiting around for 15 mins until I had to go show the ticket again. On another occasion, the staff were overwhelmed by the rush and made multiple incorrect orders. Today I went at 11 am and they ran out of espresso and were waiting for a delivery. As with any new business, these things take time, so I’m looking forward to seeing where this goes with Qaali’s. Their potential is unlimited!

Nice spot in Newark. Parking is limited but most people tend to come from the schools around or the bookstore across the street. Nice atmosphere here very Turkish inspired. The chai was pretty good but I have yet to try to coffee. I'll be back to check it out and try the desserts. There was a sign for hookah after 5pm if you are into that. Night club coffee hookah sessions.
