Emma Rue’s
17 S Howard St, Spokane, WA
Crema's Take
“Emma Rue's is a charming dual-personality spot that nails both the daytime work-and-coffee vibe and the evening cocktail scene, with baristas who genuinely care about their craft and take time to get drinks right. The carefully curated atmosphere—quiet enough for focused work during the day, warmly bustling in the evenings—pairs perfectly with their thoughtful menu of both traditional espresso drinks and creative house cocktails, plus pastries that deserve a spot on your plate. It's the kind of place where you can actually settle in, whether you're meeting a friend or spending an afternoon with your laptop.”

Dessert and cocktails were very tasty. We went on a Friday evening and it was comfortably busy but not crowded. The servers were doing their best, but everything did take a while so be prepared to take your time and be patient.
Here’s a quick Google review you could use: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Emma Rue's is such a fun spot! The handcrafted cocktails are a true adventure, and the service is warm and welcoming. The music sets the perfect vibe—great music, great drinks, and a really enjoyable atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Emma Rue’s is one of those spots that just gets it right. The cocktails? Always on point. Whether you’re in the mood for a classic or something fun and creative, they know what they’re doing behind the bar. And don’t sleep on the hummus platter—it’s way better than it has any right to be. Creamy, flavorful, and perfect for sharing (or not, no judgment). The vibes are great, the service is super friendly, and it’s just one of those places you’ll want to keep coming back to. Highly recommend.
Visited Spokane for a few days and Emma Rue’s swiftly became my favourite spot. Nice and quiet in the afternoons to get some work done, with a good coffee menu. The cocktails in the evening, however, are where this place really shines. Every one of them is incredibly well-crafted, and Zach is amazing at sussing out what folks might enjoy—my friend and I had him make what he thought would best suit us a few times and every one was a 100% hit. All the staff are lovely and kind. They also leave you to your conversations or work too, which was greatly appreciated. Emphatically a 10/10 spot. If I lived closer by I would come back often. We visited 4 times during this business trip and each time was a delight.
Super cute set up. Love the vibe. Firstly, the barista was very friendly and answered questions thoroughly and so nice! The presentation of the drinks was lovely. The atmosphere was great. Our drinks were all cold unfortunately. We didn't say anything to have her fix them, because our table came up in the next room. It just seemed odd that the cappuccino, latte and drip were all Luke warm not hot. We would still give them another go based on awesome service and the atmosphere!
