ReAnimator Coffee

Crema's Take
“This intimate corner shop in Philadelphia takes espresso seriously, crafting silky cappuccinos and carefully prepared pour-overs that reveal the nuances of quality beans. It's a cozy, dog-friendly spot with limited seating that rewards you for slowing down and savoring rather than rushing through—perfect if you're the type who notices the difference a balanced extraction makes in your cup.”

Nice little coffee shop in town! Coffee Was solid. Unfortunately the don’t have microwaves or any way to warm up pastries which seems odd of a cafe? They have seating but only for about 10 people. Would have liked a space this large to accommodate more people comfortably. Nonetheless, the coffee itself was great.
Had a cappuccino at ReAnimator Coffee and it was excellent. Smooth, balanced, and just the right amount of foam. You can tell they take their craft seriously—the espresso was rich without being bitter, and the milk was perfectly textured. The vibe inside is clean, minimal, and welcoming. A great spot to pause, sip, and enjoy a really well-made coffee. Definitely worth a visit if you’re into quality espresso drinks.
Good coffee and cute corner shop. Staff was friendly and they allow dogs inside 🐶 Really enjoyed it drinks and can’t wait to try more.
Pretty good place for third wave speciality coffee if you are into good coffee that is. Visited this roaster a few times in the last 6 years. Quality of coffee is pretty decent. However, during my last visit in January 2025, the barista reminded me thrice during my conversation with him that they were going to close in an hour! An hour is a long time and we were just ordering 3 espressos. He kept smiling though all the time. But both me and my son, we were a little put off by his reminder that they were closing in an hour despite his smile. Also bought a bag of single origin Ethiopia that did not turn out great for Pour Over but pretty good on an espresso. Edit: January 19th, 2025.
Nice coffee house. They served me cappuccino in a small 200 ml. cup. I guess they use some kind of Arabica because drink tasted a little sour for me or maybe it's all about brewing process :) I would prefer to have it more balanced.
