Seven Stars Bakery

Crema's Take
“This Providence bakery radiates a distinctly chill, welcoming energy where you can either grab your cold brew and go or settle in for a slower coffee experience with friends. The real draw here is the artisanal pastry case—think outstanding focaccia, standout raspberry danish, and muffins that genuinely impress—making it the kind of neighborhood spot where the quality of the baked goods matches the genuine kindness of the staff.”

On vacation and we saw this bakery. From the second I walked in I felt the chill and calm vibe. The muffins were incredible and the iced coffee is rather good! Was helped by a nice gentleman and everyone working there seemed nice and helpful. This is a must visit location!
Another 7 Stars. If you've been to one... you know the drill. This one follows the same formula. There is a nice selection of artisanal breads and small bites. On the day I went, there was a limited selection of pastries - most of were beautiful but not very healthy. And not much in the way of sandwiches or lunch foods. All the typical barista selections are on the menu. I ordered a large hot decaf latte with oat milk. Unfortunately the flavour of the coffee was slightly burnt. I'm not sure if their decaf is a French roast but it was not for me - I like a strong but smooth taste. At home I drink Starbucks decaf Verona. I don't think Seven Stars offers a similar blend. I may be back for one of delicious breads but not for a coffee. If you go for coffee or lunch you will enjoy the nice bright atmosphere. There is both indoor and outdoor seating. Plenty of parking is available.
Great addition to the Neighbourhood, The focaccia is really outstanding. The raspberry danish is a great treat.
Everyone was nice. Fast service, nice shop. However, the food was not good. We each had an egg, cheese, and bacon sandwich, and my husband also got a cinnamon bun. We ate everything back at the vacation rental minutes away. Glad we didn’t eat there. Opening our sandwich wrappings, we looked at our over-crispy, blackened edged breakfast. But, hey, still edible, right? It would have been were they at all tasty. I don’t know what bread type it was, but it tasted…not good. And I love bread! I love all sorts of grainy, adventurous breads. I can’t put my finger on it, but it tasted “grainy” in an unpleasant way. A strong way, as it overpowered even the bacon. So the sandwiches tasted like unpleasant grain. Unfortunately, the cinnamon bun was a fail, too. It looked good but was super dry and tasteless. My husband had to saw through it with a bread knife! The only taste it had was the sugar sprinkled over its surface. I’m so disappointed. We love bakeries. We love vacation breakfasts. Not this one, though. And we won’t be back to try anything else. If you can’t do a tasty breakfast sandwich and cinnamon bun, what else could be decent? I’m sorry to give a negative review but this was our honest experience. Take from it what you will.
I’m so excited to see Seven Stars come to my neighborhood in Edgewood, Rhode Island!!
