Fantastic little place for lunch! We had the calabrese panini and the meatballs with garlic bread. Both were delicious, and the price was fair. We ate out back, outside, listening to the nearby sea lions and enjoying the sun. Highly recommend!
Highly recommended Italian sandwich shop on the Monterey pier! Excellent sandwiches made with quality ingredients and authentic flavors. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the place is clean and well kept. There are outdoor tables with an ocean view, perfect for enjoying your sandwich while taking in the sea 🌊🥪🇮🇹. Conveniently, there’s a bike rental nearby—I grabbed my sandwich, rented a bike, and rode a little further along the coast to enjoy it by the water. 🚴♀️🥪🌊
Delicious paninis. We enjoyed eating outside looking over the water. No kids menu which was a bummer but they were willing to make their Margherita pizza look like a cheese pizza for the kiddos. We found parking easily in the lot outside. They were efficient in getting the food ready as well.
Such a great little find by the harbor. Piccolo was a perfect stop for coffee while we were checking out the slips near the water. I had a latte and my husband Ray had a white chocolate mocha—both were excellent, and you can tell they put real thought and care into their coffee. We also enjoyed some biscotti, which were wonderful. The staff was warm and friendly, especially Raul, who took great care of us. Even though it was too early for us to eat, the Italian menu looked authentic and inviting, and we’ll definitely return to try it. It’s a bit off the beaten path, right down by the water, which makes it a special spot. Relaxing, welcoming, and well worth the stop. Highly recommend if you’re in the Monterey harbor area.
What an absolute gem of a place right near fishermans wharf. The atmosphere was extremely pleasant, the staff and chef was so incredible. They treat you as if your family as soon as you walk through the door. The food was extremely welo cooked and burst with flavor. The cubano was better than any cubano i had in florida, the pork belly panini was cooked to perfection, and the baked cheese canoli/ziti was simply amazing. If you are smart, you will give the place a try. You wont regret it. I see this place going big places.
