Ybor City Coffee and Tea
1907 N 19th St, Tampa, FL
Crema's Take
“Tucked into the heart of historic Ybor, this spot captures the neighborhood's laid-back character with genuinely cozy vibes and a staff that actually makes you feel welcome. Beyond their solid coffee, they're doing something special with breakfast—think freshly-baked Cuban sandwiches with subtle, creamy depth—plus matcha and an impressive tea selection that justifies a lingering morning. Whether you're camping out with your laptop or meeting a friend on a slow Saturday, the combination of quality food, spacious indoor-outdoor seating, and that authentic Tampa energy makes it feel less like a chain pit stop and more like a neighborhood gathering place.”

Ybor City Coffee and Tea Co is one of those classic Tampa spots with a ton of character. I stopped in for tea and loved the cozy, historic vibe mixed with the laid-back Ybor energy. Great selection of coffees and teas, friendly staff, and plenty of space to sit down, relax, or get some work done. Perfect little stop if you’re walking through Ybor and want a local spot that feels authentic.
Yummy coffee! It was delicious and the staff as super accommodating and nice. We just ordered coffee but the food looked so good. Loved the Christmas decorations! 🎄I ordered the Café Ybor with condensed milk. Great place to grab coffee!
Highly recommend the breakfast Cuban. Bread had to be baked last night or this morning — so fresh. What the sandwich lacks in spice it makes up for in subtlety and creaminess. The breakfast croissant is goat cheese forward, but you still get the butteriness of the croissant and the sharpness of the spinach. Any goat cheese lover should try it. The caramel latte isn’t too sweet. The music is unique and enjoyable.
Quaint stand alone coffee and tea shop just off of a cute park. Here on a Sunday morning, fueling up for a drive home. Nice options for hot and cold beverages, tasty breakfast sandwiches and pastries (we enjoyed the Breakfast Cuban). It’s nice and quiet. Inside and outside seating. Enjoy the wild chickens and roosters that are wandering by.
We stopped by Ybor City Coffee and Tea on a Saturday morning before heading to the airport and had a great experience. It was relatively quiet, with plenty of seating both inside and outside, which made for a relaxed vibe. The Colombian drip coffee, roasted in-house, was outstanding — definitely the highlight of the visit. I had the breakfast Cuban sandwich, which was decent but not particularly memorable (though the bread was excellent). My wife enjoyed her breakfast croissant more than I did my sandwich. We also split a guava and cream cheese pastry, and it was fantastic. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere was super chill. Plus, there was a small farmers market happening right across the street, which added to the charm. A great spot for a quiet breakfast and truly great coffee!
