The energy is warm and bustling (especially on Saturday mornings), with inventive menu items like the La Espina burrito that showcase fresh, thoughtfully sourced ingredients, making it the kind of place that naturally becomes a neighborhood favorite whether you're stopping by for a quick cafecito de olla or settling in for a leisurely breakfast.”

Came here on Saturday morning and it was quite busy! We got an iced mazapán banana latte (incredible) and horchata latte. Also el clásico taco and the tortillas con mantequilla. All so delicious. Beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff! Happy to see them thriving, much deserved! Can’t wait to return and try more off their menu.
Wow!!!! Handmade flour tortillas and chorizo made in-house. You have to try the La Espina burrito – you can taste the freshness in the ingredients! Cafecito de Olla, is not too sweet. The Papas y Salsa Macha were crispy with just the right amount of heat. And if you're craving something sweet, try the Churro French Toast; it melts in your mouth. Prices are reasonable, and the food quality is phenomenal! Highly recommend! 🤤😋
Great new addition to Long Beach, the coffee is so good and the food is unmatched. Fresh tortillas and creative menu! The Espina Burrito was top notch. It’s a great place to check out on your next breakfast brunch run 🏃♂️🏃🏽♀️💛❤️
I was super happy I got a chance to try this place. Im fortunate to have access to many great local coffee shops! This will definitely be on the top of my list. You know me! Love my Mexican Mochas. This place has a great MM 🇲🇽 ☕️ 🥰 The Red Chorizo Buritto ...delicious a must try.
My partner and I tried Masa Y Taza for the first time this morning and were blown away. We ordered the chorizo breakfast burrito and the chicken verde breakfast burrito, and both were absolutely delicious. You can immediately tell the tortillas are made in house — soft, warm, and full of flavor. I also got the horchata latte which was incredible, and the owner, John, was so kind. He gave us tasters of their Café de Olla and it was phenomenal. John shared that his partner (the chef) has worked with Michelin star chefs, and you can absolutely taste that level of skill in every bite of the burritos. We tried their chipotle crema, green salsa, and pickled onions, and everything was packed with flavor and super fresh. We highly recommend checking this place out! It’s definitely going to be our new go to spot.
