Coffee Parlor

Crema's Take
“Coffee Parlor in Long Beach is an espresso-focused gem where the real magic happens in unexpected flavor combinations—think dirty lavender chai with oatmilk that'll make you reconsider what coffee shop drinks can be, or matcha lattes that have earned serious regional acclaim. Beyond the counter, their kitchen shines with creative breakfast fare like birria beef burritos loaded with tallow-fried tater tots and fresh sourdough that tastes like actual craftsmanship, all served in a clean, airy space that's perfect for lingering over a meal with friends. The pace is unhurried and the vibe genuinely welcoming, even if parking requires a little patience and service moves at its own thoughtful rhythm.”

Great place, great coffee, great foods, great service but abit slow. Parking can be a hassle since it's small but manageable, clean and airy with great vibe. They do have both seating inside and outside. Not much decor but the vibe and the smell of coffee are just unforgettable. The staff are very friendly and attentive but that just slow down from the people behind, especially in the morning and for people in hurry. But overall fantastic place. They also have the pizza parlor couple door down and it has great pizza and salads as well.
This place is amazing. Easily one of the best matcha lattes and avocado toasts I have had in the broader South Bay. I usually regret ordering avocado toast bc I feel I have scammed myself paying so much for avo on bread, but COPA’s is next-level restaurant quality. So fresh & flavorful on Gusto sourdough. Would definitely recommend ordering it OG style. It’s busy inside (for good reason) but tables clear up and the service is also so friendly and attentive. If I lived in this area I’d be a regular.
Just had the best breakfast burrito ever. Birria beef, 2 eggs, tallow-fried tater tots, pico de gallo and avocado... bomb.com... good salsa also. Not sure what is in this coffee but it also is probably the best I've ever had. Different, interesting flavor. The only downside, and I've only been here once, it's a little small (tough to jockey for position waiting for my food) and a little pricey. $18 for the birria breakfast burrito... I would have hoped it was a little larger or a little less expensive. Still, delicious.
Easily one of the best “dirty lavender chai w/oatmilk” I have ever had & I’ve been ordering them all over the country for a decade. So delicious & my husband & I both ordered food & basically licked our plates clean. He had one of the bowls with purple potatoes & beets & I had the avocado toast. Loved the atmosphere as well. We sat for hours reading & working.
Food: plenty of drinks and baked goods to choose from! I ordered the sea salt caramel latte and it was delicious. The sourdough is baked fresh and when you bite into it, it really does taste like that homemade feel that we are all looking for in food. Service: I told the clerk it was my first time and she explained some of her favorite drinks and asked me what I liked. She also explained how they bake their own goods in house. Final thought: the parking is horrible, so be prepared to find a spot. Small business with yummy delights. I'll be back!
