Little Susie’s Coffee & Pie
1754 S Chadwick St, Philadelphia, PA
Crema's Take
“This charming walk-up window spot has cracked the code on the hand pie obsession sweeping Philadelphia, pairing buttery, generously-stuffed savory pies like cheesesteak and pork roll with quality coffee in a casual, dog-friendly setting. The pies are the real draw here—arrive early since they sell out fast—but the fresh pastries and light fare make it an easy grab whether you're fueling up for the day or sneaking a midday treat with your furry friend.”

The pies are amazing. I have tried them all and they are always fresh. Try them all, you wont be disappointed. I've been to the Chadwick st location about 6 or 7 times, the one cashier is so miserable. On a few occasions he has literally thrown change across the counter, I asked for a hot black coffee, no cream and 4 Splenda, he puts the coffee on the counter n said "here's your coffee with all that stuff in it!" and rolled his eyes. The customer service needs serious improvement. People have bad days, but this has happened more than twice now. Their food and coffee are really good and of very good quality.
Accidentally stumbled upon this while walking my pup! Very happily surprised! The cheesesteak pie was delicious, really generous with the stuffing in a light flaky crust 👌🏻 better yet, the coffee hit too!! Got a simple black coffee with a touch of oat and it delivered a beautifully rich and deep flavor! Great to have in the neighborhood, will be back to try other pie flavors!
Tried little Susie’s today and will definitely be back for more. Pro tip they sell out quick so it’s best to go early to have all the options- Had the porkroll & cheese —the mushroom & Swiss—All were delicious but the mushroom Swiss was my favorite. Flavorful and the perfect ratio of meat to pastry. I was expecting the pastry to be too much, but to my surprise it was my favorite part. Although the coffee was sold out, that would have made it a great addition to the meal. Overall, everything was well made. Definitely want to explore more of the menu. Very reasonably priced as well! Once a pie is sold out they remove it from the menu updated very timely. The variety of options are amazing they have both sweet & savory. I will be coming back.
This is such an interesting concept! You order at a window for hand pies & coffee. We love their chicken pot pies, but they’re ALWAYS SOLD OUT. Come early if you want to get most options!
Yum!!! After months of seeing the "Baking Soon" sign, it was exciting to see that they have finally opened for business. The current operation is a walk-up window and there were three pies to choose at the time- Philly cheesesteak, chicken pot pie, and apple. Philly cheesesteak is very good! Tastes like some of the best steaks I've had in the city, just in hand pie form. Chicken pot pie was also good with a decent amount of veggies with the chicken. Apple pie was sweet! A good classic pie. Everything tasted nice and fresh! Not sure if each pie is the same price, but three came to 16.50, so may be 5.50 each. Reasonable price for a filling treat! Looking forward to more pie varieties. Glad to have this spot in the neighborhood!
