Crema's Take

Ruby's Cafe is a genuine old-school Montana diner where the cinnamon rolls are legitimately legendary—fresh-baked with just the right cinnamon-to-cream-cheese ratio that keeps people coming back. The whole experience feels authentically lived-in, with regulars holding court at the counter and a staff that actually takes care of you, serving hot coffee and honest breakfast classics like their standout Cowboy skillet with perfectly crisped potatoes.

[Expert Cinnabun Eater Alert] Top 5 evah. Maybe even Top 2. Seriously good bun -- fresh baked cake, just enough cinnamon to make it melt in the warm-up, and oodles of fabulous sweet cream cheese frosting. It's a whopper and with a cup of Ruby's cowboi kawfee it can be a meal on its own. Deeee-lisssshhhh!!!

Such a cool, old school cafe dining experience. Food came out fresh and very quickly. Staff works well together to ensure that each customer is well taken care of. We were very nervous from the look of the jammed packed parking lot that there would be a very long wait, but this way not the case. They got us right in. The hometown feel of the cafe takes you back in time to a simpler time. We enjoyed our time here.

The perfect classic diner/cafe to get your Montana day started! Great service from the kind of servers you want in a place like this. Plus the old timer regulars occupying the counter and front booths. Comfy Montana decor to go along with the comfort food, served hot. Not much room for hungry after a visit to Ruby’s!

This is your typical family owned and run diner type restaurant. Where the coffee is always hot and your cup is always full. I ordered 2 eggs, hashbrowns, corned beef hash and a pancake ($16). The hashbrowns were seated to an excellent brown crustiness and the eggs cooked to perfection! I noticed they serve liver and onions, true Americana diner fare! The service was great, the waitress was spot on, bringing out meal as soon as it was put up, giving the people next to us a little more time to pour over the menu. The restaurant is clean, I saw pride of ownership, this place runs like a Chevy big block engine! This places is recommended if you want some down home fill your belly food prepared and served to satisfy your appetite.

I love a cute, old diner. This place is a classic in every way. The cinnamon roll was amazing, the Cowboy skillet was so good with perfectly cooked eggs and crispy, well seasoned potatoes. My server Levi was friendly and attentive, he never let my coffee cup run dry. I'll be back next time I'm in town!
