Dulce Tradicion

Crema's Take
“Dulce Tradicion is a beloved Colombian spot in Newark where homemade treats like corn tamales, stuffed arepas, and empanadas steal the show alongside thoughtfully prepared coffee and traditional drinks. The family-friendly atmosphere and genuine care from the owner shine through in every interaction, making it feel like a warm gathering place rather than just a café. Fair warning: stick to their specialties—the house-made savory and sweet items are where their heart truly lies.”

Best little colombian place around. She has all sorts of treats and drinks. Stuffed Arepa was delicious.
The empanadas were delicious and the chili sauce was a must-try. Excellent service.

Delicious grilled chicken breast 😋
My rating is based on the restaurant and the bad food. The sandwiches weren't what they advertised. The fried rice was very basic, nothing special, just a simple plate of rice. And the waitress's service was terrible. I ordered a coffee, finished my rice, and she never gave me my coffee. I paid for my order, and she didn't even remember the coffee. What a shame about the waitress; money wasted.
