Crema's Take

Suissa Bakery & Coffee Shop feels like stepping into someone's neighborhood gathering spot, where the owner's warmth matches the quality of their coffee and an impressive lineup of pastries and savory baked goods—think shrimp roissas, Bavarian cream donuts, and Brazilian pão de queijo that keep regulars coming back. The tight but cozy five-table seating area trades elbow room for an intimate, unhurried vibe perfect for lingering conversations, though you'll want to arrive knowing street parking is tight and cash was traditionally preferred (though they now take cards as of late June).

Super friendly service, like walking into your local family bakery. Coffee was great, wish they had more bread/pastries available and a menu visible to order their specialties. Highly recommend.

The shrimp roissa (sp?) is AWESOME!!!! Street parking is limited. Lots of drink options. Sitting area, 5 or 6 tables. Update 6/29/2025, now accepting credit cards. Bavarian creme donut is amazing!!

Love the empanadas, the Pao de queso and the sweet bread!! It is not expensive and the service is really great! There is not a lot of places to park the car because it's street parking.

Cash only. Has indoor seating. Prices are slightly on the higher end - Talor ham, egg, & cheese on a bagel is $7.25 but it was good. They don't have a huge selection of bagels nor do they make the bagels, but my sandwich was good - fluffy eggs, not oily Taylor ham. They have a bunch of other Portuguese pastries I'll have to come back for.

This place is awesome. The kitchen is authentic and there's plenty of choices to eat for breakfast or lunch or just some sweets/desserts. The owner was a wholesome and friendly person who introduced us to all of his goods he is selling. We drank coffee and tried eating some empanadas as well as a Butterroll and some omelette, which were super tasty. I definitely recommend this place!
