Burr & Berry Coffee
9605 Monroe Rd, Charlotte, NC
Crema's Take
“Burr & Berry is a charming neighborhood favorite that's earned serious love for stepping outside the big-chain coffee game with creative seasonal drinks like their Cookie Butter coffee and inventive matcha offerings alongside solid traditional espresso drinks. The convenient drive-thru setup and family-friendly vibe make it perfect for a quick grab before the movies or a casual stop, but what really sets them apart is their willingness to experiment with signature creations that keep regulars coming back month after month. With consistently fresh pastries and deals that feel genuinely generous, this spot punches well above the typical coffee-shop experience.”

When I heard a Burr and Berry’s near me, I had to go check it out before I went to the movies, and what a great choice that was! They have great deals on coffee and fresh pastries alongside a monthly rotating specials on seasonal coffee drinks. Will definitely be back!
Was driving and passed this adorable drive thru coffee shop so I had to make a u turn to check them out. I love any coffee shop that isn’t the big chain of Starbucks or Dunkin. They had quite an extensive menu of coffees to choose from and have daily pastries as well. I got the chubby bunny coffee on ice and a cinnamon muffin. Both were very good and staff were very friendly and quick with making my drink order. I will definitely be back.
I'm actually quite disappointed to have to leave this review. But I am hoping it will get someone's attention. Have been frequenting this location since it opened just down from my house. Loved the concept, and until recently, the execution has been spot on as well. Unfortunately, the last two visits have been quite a let down. I'm not sure if they changed syrups/recipes/coffees or what, but the last two trips, both of our drinks have been practically flavorless. I usually get a PSL once the weather is cool, and my SO switches hers up regularly. Both times, the drinks just tasted like warm milk. No syrup flavor at all, and last time I could barely taste the coffee....this time, literally nothing. I don't want to one star them as the staff is always friendly and pleasant, and the facility is super clean and nice, but I had to call this out as now I'm hesitant to go back. I'm not an every day coffee drinker, but at least once a week, and I just can't justify the expense, only to be disappointed in the product. Anyways.....hope this reaches the right person, and to the staff, thank you for what you do!
It was my first time visiting this coffee shop, and the drive-thru line was surprisingly long during lunchtime. I tried a hot Cookie Butter coffee and it was quite good. My friend ordered a frappe, which was a bit disappointing — a little watery and lacking in flavor.
My daughter and I went for the first time. It was pretty neat experience kind of different quite a wide variety of drinks and some seasonal items had the cinnamon latte which was great. The Maui macchiato was decent and they do this thing where they put a piece of chocolate on the lid of the coffee, which is pretty different. Definitely need to find another way to get more people through because of the long drive thru lines Would go again, but it’s a little bit of a drive for coffee. Come to South Charlotte.
