A restaurant worth trying. We walked here after a wonderful show at the DSO. We were seated right away even though our reservation was about 40 minutes later. First impression was comforting. The service was impeccable, and the food was unlike anywhere else. We started with a mozz & sweet cream that came with some delicious homemade olive sourdough along with a "Hike through the Dolomites" cocktail.. so tasty! We also tried the little gem salad and Ive never tasted a better salad. We then all ordered a main dish. The butternut squash agnolotti, smoked duck, ribeye, and the shoots pizza. All were delicious and worth every penny. Recommend you try this place. The atmosphere is very comforting as well.

This place is absolutely incredible! The waitress was so nice and helped us pick our meals and made our anniversary a blast. We tried the Branzino which was great. The chicken was so good it has honey and olives. They brought out some potatoes as a side which were great. Wine selection and drink menu was perfect. We had such a good time we came back 2 days later and tried the pizza. Definitely recommend the Shroom!

Wow what an amazing experience!! My boyfriend and I went for our anniversary and they made it so special. From the greetings and conversation with both hostesses when we first walked in, to our amazing server Keli who answered all of our questions and made our night one to remember! She was so accommodating and even helped us pick out the most delicious wine pairing. This place needs to be on your next dinner list. We had a wonderful experience. We pulled up and the valet happily took our car. Maya was our server and she was awesome! She was very attentive and made sure our drinks were full and she was timely with each portion of our meal. All of the food was delicious. If we ever comeback to Detroit we will definitely be back. The decor and ambiance was clean and energetic!

Mad Nice is a standout in Detroit. Beautiful interior, great vibe, and excellent food. We had the octopus, gem salad, Guanciale pizza, and duck pastrami cavatelli, and everything was delicious. The pizza had a perfect balance of savory and nutty flavors with a light, crispy crust, and the duck pasta was rich and satisfying. They also have a coffee shop and a private dining room, which makes the space incredibly versatile — perfect for anything from a casual coffee to a group celebration. Friendly service and a memorable experience overall. Highly recommend.
