Crema's Take
“Tucked into the Marigny neighborhood, Le Ponce is a tiny but mighty spot where fresh-made pastries and carefully crafted breakfast sandwiches steal the show alongside solid espresso drinks. The intimate indoor space opens up to generous covered and uncovered outdoor seating, creating the perfect vibe whether you're grabbing coffee on your way or settling in for a leisurely morning with friends. What really sets it apart is the attention to quality ingredients and the genuinely warm staff who make you feel like a regular from your first visit.”

I got a latte and breakfast sandwich. They were both good. The place is small but has plenty of covered and uncovered outdoor seating. I def recommend this place. Staff was friendly as well.
This is an absolute gem of a place. I’m in town for work and a friend referred me to it. I’m very familiar with the area but didn’t know it had come into business. I do enjoy making and trying breakfast sandwiches – this was comfortably the best I’ve ever consumed. Grade A cafe au lait. They’ve kept the lovely patio from the old place. It’s just so amazing when skilled, caring people run a small business like this. Thank you so much to everyone involved.
Fantastic place with lots of fresh made pastries. Went for coffee with a friend early in the morning. Great atmosphere with super friendly staff. Quiche was really big and really delicious. Tiny pickles as a garnish for the quiche was a nice touch. Will be back there soon for sure.
I love Le Ponce. I treated myself to a quick breakfast on my birthday at the beginning of the month. I love their new expanded menu. I preferred the full English. It was delicious with the full strap bacon. Only criticism was there were no mushrooms and the tomato wasn’t cooked. Still delicious though, and the only place I know of in NOLA metro you can get a full English and proper hot cup of tea. Their pastries are consistently delicious and I’m so happy to see them expanding their breakfast menu. They’re a part of the Degas group and it’s so great to have a “Le Ponce” aka “spot” for gentle mornings in the neighborhood.
We were SO excited to try Le Ponce this weekend (it just opened) and it did not disappoint!! The breakfast sandwiches are fantastic. The quality of each ingredient makes a huge difference. We got one breakfast sandwich with bacon, scrambled eggs and goat cheese, and another jambon and brie (both to die for!!!) We’ve lived in this area for a few years and were so sad when the last coffee shop closed its doors. So happy to see this place revitalizing the neighborhood with great food and coffee, at a reasonable price point. I look forward to many more catch ups and breakfasts at Le Ponce :)
