I had the veggie samosa and goat curry. So flavorful!! The spice was just what I needed! The way the flavor builds as you eat is such a beautiful experience. I highly recommend! We will back to try other dishes in the future! The owners are also so kind!

I tried the Garlic Naan Goat/Lamb Curry Thali with vegetable biryani rice and papadum at Rama’s Indian Foods, and it was absolutely delicious. The goat/lamb curry was rich, tender, and deeply flavorful, with spices that were bold. The garlic naan was warm, soft, and fragrant—perfect for soaking up every bit of the curry. The vegetable biryani was aromatic and well-balanced, and the papadum added a light, crispy contrast to the meal. Overall, this thali felt hearty, authentic, and thoughtfully prepared. A great choice for anyone craving comforting Indian flavors with generous portions. Highly recommended!

This restaurant is located in the West Towne Mall Food Court. We ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala. Unfortunately, the rice, meat and curry was unbearably salty. What the meal lacked in flavor was compensated with an excess of salt. I have patronized a variety of Indian cuisine establishments around the country and am very familiar with the flavor profile of the cuisine; unfortunately, this dish missed the mark. The service worker was very friendly and provided great service. There is plenty of free parking in the West Towne Mall parking lot. This restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

I ordered the butter chicken and there was a quarter of an inch of oil on top. I know that amount of oil would make anyone sick. The oil separated through the curry and would not combine. Not only that but for $15 I maybe got a cup and a half of curry to a whole platter of rice. Which doesn’t feel worth the money. I had to reach behind the counter to grab my own utensils and genuinely felt like a bother after ordering. I don’t usually make reviews like this but honestly couldn’t eat it.

One of the Best Indian Food Spots in Madison! I had such a great experience at Rama’s Food! The person who helped us—I’m guessing the owner—was an incredible host. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even giving us fresh rice and a few extra goodies with our meal. The food was absolutely delicious—authentic, full of flavor, and made with love. Honestly, it’s some of the best Indian food I’ve had in Madison. You can really tell they care about the food and their guests. I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend! 🙌
