Crema's Take

This thoughtfully designed new location strikes a balance between Instagram-worthy aesthetics and genuine hospitality, with owner Raphael's consistent commitment to quality espresso drawing in both students and professionals looking for a solid workspace. While pricing runs on the premium side, the carefully curated atmosphere and evolving menu of both traditional and specialty drinks—like their standout Northern Light tea—justify a visit for those who value ambiance alongside their caffeine.

Love this new location! The aesthetic is on point. You can tell a lot of care went into the furniture and overall vibe. I had the Northern Light tea today, which was excellent, but their coffee has always been consistently good. It’s a great place to work. Bright and welcoming without being too quiet, and also perfect for weekends. Definitely one of my new go-to spots!

Overpriced coffee in a cute cafe. Super convenient but it's literally $10 for a basic latte. I miss the og coffee spot here, the employees were way nicer and it was a way better quality.

The new Charles Atherton House location is still adding new items and features. They have an abbreviated menu compared with other Honolulu stores but the service is good & to my surprise so is the coffee! Not sure if the lobby area & restrooms are open to the public as it seems more of a to-go kiosk right now aimed at students. Great location for nearby Manoa residents & students and providing much needed coffeeshop diversity! 🤙🏼

Excellent spot. Raphael (the owner) always seems to create excellent cafe's to get work done in, while serving consistently great coffee. Lots of college students, and some local professionals (like me) have been waiting for a spot like this. Parking is limited, so look for street parking on Metcalf or University Ave. This is a pop up for now while the main space is being built, but still a great space to get some work done!

This Charles Atherton House location is brand new and still adding new items and features. They have an abbreviated menu compared with other Honolulu stores but the service is good & to my surprise so is the coffee! The baristas can even make items not on the menu (if possible & not too busy). Unsure if the lobby area & restrooms are open to the public as it seems more of a to-go kiosk right now. Great location for Manoa residents & students and providing much needed Manoa coffee diversity! Stayed tuned! 🤙🏼
