Crema's Take
“Tucked into New Orleans' dining scene, this intimate kitchenette delivers a warm, unhurried experience where service genuinely shines—staff like Kelly make guests feel like regulars from the moment they arrive. The menu balances classic New Orleans flavors with approachable breakfast fare, from powerfully good coffee and buttery croissants to standout dishes like red fish courtbouillon, making it an ideal spot to linger over a slow morning or escape the chaos of the city.”

We went on a Friday night around 7 pm. We order the charbroiled oysters, Mufaletta Salad, and French fries. My husband ordered an old fashioned to drink. The drink never came. We asked our waitress if she could check on the order after ten minutes or so and she said she would, but it still never came. The oyster and salad arrived. The oysters were good. The Muffaletta Salad was a complete disappointment. It was so soggy and disgusting. There were no identifiable pieces of any vegetable besides shredded lettuce. They should stop serving this immediately. Lastly, the fries finally showed up when we were finished eating our main plates. The service was very poor. This was not the experience that Emeril Legasse would WANT for any of his restaurants.
Forgot to take a picture of our dinner but from the time my friend and I walked in we had an amazing experience. Once seated we were greeted by KELLY who made our experience EVERYTHING! We will be back for her alone. Top notch service with a smile and amazing personality. Appetizers were so delicious and fresh but the surf and turf, steak and lobster 😍 steak so tender and juicy. We love you KELLY, THANK YOU 🩷🩷
I didn't want to give this place 5 stars... it's just not fair to other restaurants downtown. You may never need to go any other place than Ceasars. I sat at the bar to grab something quick and didn't expect the results. The burger was unique and awesome. Roasted tomato?! Brie?! The drink menu looks good, and the bartender knows what he's doing, so I'm coming back for a few drinks later. Full restaurant outside the roped entrance to the casino so you can bring the kids.
I was hiding from the storm and had a light brunch here, coffee was good and strong enough to keep me awake. And the highlight was the turkey, egg and cheese croissant, it was so good and more than what I expected. I have to come back and repeat it especially for the croissant!! Please give it a try.
Emeril’s Petite Brasserie is a fairly large restaurant with a good sized menu. The food was very good and the service was excellent. I had the red fish courtbullion with fried oysters and it was great. I would highly recommend this place and was very impressed. A good meal and good service in a pretty environment.
