Deep Cuts Coffee

1910 Pacific Ave, Dallas, TX

★★★★★4.9(73 Google reviews)

Crema's Take

Deep Cuts Coffee is a horror-themed sanctuary in Dallas where serious espresso craftsmanship meets retro nostalgia, with walls lined in vintage posters and vintage charm that make you forget you're hunting for a hidden skybridge entrance. The baristas clearly obsess over quality—reviewers rave about smooth, rich shots—but what really sets this place apart is the full experience: you'll find video games, books, and a welcoming atmosphere that encourages lingering, whether you're meeting someone or getting lost in their creative specialty drinks. It's the kind of spot where the vibe matches the coffee, and both are exceptional.

Deep Cuts Coffee is hands down one of the coolest spots I’ve ever stepped into. If you love horror and nostalgia, this is your sanctuary. The walls are covered in amazing horror posters and the decor is 10/10. Beyond the killer aesthetic, the coffee is actually top-tier. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the theme and the quality. A must-visit!

Hidden gem. Note that while the address says 1910 Pacific avenue, this entrance is for the residents of the office building. There is a sign that says visitors must use the Elm street entrance. Though I was able to get in through a side door that was surprisingly opened at 1910 Pacific Ave, keep in mind it may not work for you. The cafe is located on the second floor. If you are coming from Elm street, the middle elevators or the escalators on the far left will lead you to a crystal door that accesses the skybridge visible from the street. Go through the crystal double doors but do not take the skybridge, follow the sign that says keep left and you’ll reach the cafe after walking the hallway for a few steps. With all that said, this coffee place has a vintage horror theme, decor perfectly reflects this. Not only that, their signature and seasonal coffee options also have halloween-ish themes. Baristas were very friendly and helpful in giving out suggestions, they even brought my order to the table I was sitting. It’s a little difficult to find, but I recommend visiting this cafe in you are in the Dallas downtown area.

Deep Cuts Coffee absolutely blew me away! The coffee and selection are top-notch—every sip was smooth, rich, and full of flavor. You can tell they care deeply about quality because everything tasted fresh and perfectly crafted. The barista made the entire experience unforgettable. Not only were they friendly and approachable, but also super knowledgeable. They answered questions with ease, made great recommendations, and added a fun energy that made me want to stay longer just to enjoy the vibe. Speaking of vibe—the décor was frightfully good! On theme, creative, and totally immersive. It felt like more than just grabbing a coffee; it was an experience. From the details in the design to the overall atmosphere, they nailed it. Deep Cuts Coffee isn’t just a coffee shop—it’s a must-visit destination. I’ll definitely be back again and again.

Trying to find this place is totally worth the effort! Remember to look up - it's in the skybridge. Once you find the sign, enter that building, go up one flight, then head toward the glass doors heading away from direction you entered the building. Veer left and you'll see it it on your left. Absolutely fabulous theme and decor! And best of all, the coffee is really good. The owner is working behind the counter and you can feel the love (or is it terror?)! Such a fun spot to visit in downtown Dallas!
