Crema's Take
“This roastery fills a historic Savannah space with the rich aroma of beans they roast in-house, earning consistent praise from both locals and visitors for their excellent espresso and pour-overs. The multi-level cafe creates plenty of room to linger with your coffee and a fresh pastry or light breakfast, with service that's as warm and attentive as the drinks themselves. Whether you're a coffee focused explorer or just stopping by for a classic latte and breakfast bowl, the quality of their roasted beans and thoughtful preparation make it clear why tour guides keep sending people here.”

Our historical tour guide said this was the best place to get coffee and that they roast their own beans on site. She was right, our iced lattes, smoothie, sandwiches and soup and salad were all superb! Friendly workers. And they have an amazing bakery/dessert case. Loved the dog friendly patio too
So happy we visited! We had heard great reviews and wanted to stop in while we visiting the city. Beverages: Their coffee was excellent. We ordered one Shot in the Dark and one hot chai latte. Both were great. Food: We ordered the pavlova (so soooo good), a chicken biscuit (meh) and a breakfast bowl (yummy and very filling). Atmosphere: The vibe of the place feels like a mix between open air industrial and cozy coffee shop. It works very well somehow. Service: We sat inside and were taken care of by two people (one of whom we believe was the owner) and both of them were so helpful, kind and quick with our service -- even when there were issues with our order. Can't wait to return and would a thousand percentage recommend if you are in the area.
Wonderful atmosphere with plenty of seating both downstairs and upstairs. The service was quick and attentive, and the coffee was excellent. The breakfast bowl was very flavorful, though it arrived cold, which was disappointing. Overall, I’d definitely come back—especially to try the pastries. I was eyeing the strawberry danishes in the display case.
My smoking hot date wanted a coffee + bakery combo so we fell up into Savannah Coffee Roasters. This place had the baked goods and the coffee and she approved. We had a trio of coffee selections with a hot, cold between and a Cuban coffee. Naturally, we washed it down with a slice of pavlova that was nearly the size of a barn. Lots of seating, large selection of food and bev. Service was ok, they were nice but lots of people standing around and somewhat indifferent but on the plus side, the stuff came out super quick. All in all, great visit.
I was randomly craving a frozen caramel frappuccino (don’t ask me why 😂), and since I’m not a local, I did what any reasonable gal would do… I Googled “best coffee places.” Not ashamed to admit it. I got a ton of results and felt a little overwhelmed, but I chose this spot based on reviews—and now here I am writing one myself. From the outside, the place looks pretty unassuming, but stepping in was a surprise. The classy industrial interior gave off a gentlemen’s lounge vibe before opening into a hidden café space with high ceilings and, in the back, a kitchen that looks like its own little house. It even has a sheet-metal roof and a big open window so you can watch your food being prepared fresh. Loved that detail. The crowd was a nice mix—felt welcoming. I didn’t grab a pastry myself, but their display was tempting. Huge portions, visually delightful, and fresh. My husband tried a chocolate croissant, and it was flaky, buttery, and honestly so good that I even stopped to ask a couple of people about their desserts (pumpkin cheesecake and pavlova) before leaving. Both said they loved theirs too! As for me, I went with the frozen caramel frappe. Heads-up: it comes with four shots of espresso by default—so if that’s too much, ask them to tone it down or remove, like moi. Even with the adjustment, it was amazing. Their coffee was aromatic, rich, and bold, yet the drink still felt light, creamy, and perfectly balanced—not overly sweet or bland. No shade to Starbucks, but this had that artisan blend you just can’t get out of a box. Props to the barista, whoever you were—you nailed it. The cashier I spoke with was also really sweet and funny, which made the visit even better. I know reviews can vary, but my experience was nothing but pleasant. I’d absolutely come back—not just for the drinks, but even to grab a bag of their beans for home. Coffee like that is rare. Stay tuned for more honest reviews and little adventures with moi— yours truly, @sincerely_persephony
