Qamaria Yemeni Coffee Co.

On a gloomy Thursday afternoon, this girl needed a pick-me-up! I had been eyeing this Coffee shop for over a year and today I popped in for a caffeine boost. As I walked towards the entrance, I noticed a welcoming patio and a large iron door ready to be opened. The space is very light, beautifully lighted, and the aromas of cardamom and coffee hit your senses in a beautiful way! The menu is vast— cold, hot, American, Yemeni, Turkish, Lattes, Teas, Smoothies PLUS milkcakes (think Tres Leches Cake), muffins, croissants, samosas, sandwiches. Their specialty is Yemeni coffee so I had to try the Iced Mufawaar. I enjoyed the mix of bitter and sweet with cardamom and cream. I tried three milkcakes — Rose, Pistachio and Caramel. All the cakes are made in house, fresh every day. You may purchase by the slice or by the sheet. The rose milkcake tasted like a rose—it was a suddle flavor that hit my tastebuds as much as my sense if smell. I would say it was an experience, a lovely one! I highly recommend you check out this interesting, cultured coffee shop for a new type of caffeine experience!

Updated: Great food, drinks and service. I got lucky to find good table space today and got some work done during a non busy brunch/ lunch time. Jalal the marketing director is wonderful to chat with and the barista/ cashier guy was also very helpful. Thanks for keeping the space so nice to be in and having the best customer service for a tea & snack shop. I’ll have to come visit the other locations that I was told about. I didn’t know there was another! When I’m in the Richmond/ Rosenburg area I’ll scope y’all out! Old: Great place when you’re lucky enough to get parking here. On a Monday morning so far parking is fine. Matcha latte & spinach pastry is delicious. Couldn’t say the same with the meat samosa. It’s missing a dipping sauce or something. Friendly staff here and no issues whatsoever. I’ll definitely be getting more food and drinks here when I’m in the area and there’s parking!

Turkish coffee can truly bring you back to life — and that’s absolutely true. I experienced it firsthand at this lovely Arabic café at the end of a beautiful workday. The coffee was rich, bold, and perfectly made — exactly the kind that makes you slow down and breathe again. The atmosphere is warm and relaxing, a real little escape from the rush of everyday life. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and you genuinely feel taken care of, not rushed. This place feels like a small moment of rest and comfort, and it’s definitely somewhere I’d come back to for both the coffee and the vibe.

This is such a cute coffee shop with delicious treats. The decor is so beautiful and has such a calming atmosphere. I literally will sit here for 30 minutes to an hour just enjoying my time. Staff is so nice too and service is quick. They have a lot of delicious treats, that need to be sampled. Definitely come here if you are in the area, you won’t be disappointed. I always get the Qamaria iced latte, it’s my favorite.

Co-worker told me about this coffee shop, and I have been guiding people here ever since! The atmosphere is pleasant and spacious, lots of good seating in a variety of styles. Coffee drinks are delicious and comparably priced for most upscale coffee shops. The pistachio latte is especially good. Alternative milks are available. The staff are well trained in their work and very nice. Their recommendations are spot on, and all my drinks have been great. The manager introduced us to the Lotus Biscoff cheesecake, and was gratified to hear how we were spreading the word about Qamaria. 10 out of 10, would recommend.
