Crema's Take

Café Domestique is a beautifully conceived tri-concept space where a specialty coffee shop, bakery, and bar live together under one roof on Madison's North Street, letting you settle in with a thoughtfully-pulled espresso and pastries from Bloom bakery across a sprawling, genuinely welcoming interior and patio. The knowledgeable baristas pull excellent shots, the space feels genuinely curated with coffee merchandise and cool details, and the whole operation has the relaxed, accommodating vibe of a place that gets what a good neighborhood gathering spot should be.

The coffee and matcha were okay. Nothing very exciting. The place and attention were great. Really good ambiance with lots of cool coffee stuff and merch. The idea of having 3 spots in one is amazing.

This was such a cool spot! It's split into a bakery, bar, and coffee spot but you can sit anywhere in the large space. There's even a patio when it's warm! I went to work with a coffee and pain au chocolat. There were a lot of kids there for a Wednesday morning but the space wasn't overly loud and everyone was respectful. The music and service was great. The only slightly inconvenient thing is having to get your coffee and bakery goods at two different registers, but it's worth many return trips!

A few more comfortable chairs would be appreciated, but they know what they're doing on North Street. Excellent crowd on thus warm winter Friday. Delicious latte and cold self-serve water. This is an excellent place to spend time people watching, or catching up with a bestie. I almost always see someone that I know here. It's worth a visit and possibly a frequent.

Great spot for coffee (and pastries from Bloom) and there is a lot of nice seating and ample parking outside. Our coffee drinks were excellent and staff is super accommodating.

Nestled in this rehabbed building are 3 shops-bakery, coffee shop, and bar. There was ample seating, it was kid friendly and inviting, and even had a car charging station and bike racks. We opted for cold brews (and the kids had Wisco Pop and juice). We definitely will be back!
