Crema's Take

Nestled in Clifton Park Center, this café-bookstore hybrid strikes an impressive balance between serious coffee craft and welcoming community space, with espresso-focused drinks that locals praise for their smoothness and care. Beyond the excellent lattes and creative specialty beverages, it's genuinely designed for lingering—whether you're working on a laptop, enjoying a full breakfast with family, or browsing their curated selection of used and new books while sipping a lavender tea. The warm, supportive atmosphere extends to their commitment to local artists, making it feel less like a typical mall café and more like a genuine neighborhood gathering place.

We had a wonderful Saturday breakfast at a café that proudly supports local artists and is wonderfully family-friendly. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the staff went above and beyond with impeccable customer service that left us feeling cared for. We’re so happy with our experience that we’ll definitely be returning with my wife and two daughters.

I had the lemon honey scone and hot lavendar tea, both were great! The place was busy, but I had noise cancelling headphones, and I was able to get a lot done. They recently extended their hours, which is great! It's always a comfortable place to go...and it opens right into the mall! I have always had great experience with service here, and this visit was no exception! Nice job!

Not quite a da Vinci masterpiece. Wanted to try to place for a while now but their kitchen hours would end just before I could get out of work on a normal day, but at some point they started to sell liquor and thus were forced to keep the kitchen open during all hours. Works for me. Ordered online using their website, going with a slice of the quiche, a Vanilla Protein shake, and the Joe Buss'n which comes with chips. Came to just under $36 with tip, pretty standard for Cafe local. Pickup was simple, right on the outer side of the mall, though they were waiting to make the final touches on my shake. Which as soon as I got it I could tell it was really, watery, which I confirmed back in my car. Typically the protein shakes I have had are thick, like a smoothie, I mean I added bananas, blueberries, strawberries, peanut butter, and a handful of flavors. Yet it was about as thick as the almond milk I picked. Great flavor mind you, great flavor, but no substance or body. To say I was disappointed, would be about right. Back home I dug into the quiche and the sandwich. The quiche was like many I have had, great cheesy and eggy flavor, the crust was buttery, and the veggies added a nice refreshing edge. Pretty solid. The amusingly named sandwich was, different, but in a mostly ok way. Loved how crispy the ciabatta bread was, the pepper jack was a great choice, chicken and bacon was good, and the veggies were also great, but something about the BBQ sauce muddled the waters. I don't know why, it should have been a good compliment to the meat, maybe it was just too intense? Whatever the reason I found the sandwich to be pretty whatever, nothing to write home about. Overall, prices match typical cafe fare, service was good, shake and sandwich were disappointing, quiche was good.

Great place to have a latte and sit in their large dining area. Located in Clifton Park Center mall. Nice concept of used and new books for sale. Intriguing food menu. They currently have a Gilmore Girl coffee menu. Got a large Luke that was real weak and light. Definitely needs an extra shot in their large size, tastes mostly like milk.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ What a hidden gem! The menu has a great variety of fresh, tasty, and relatively healthy dishes that both kids and adults can enjoy. The latte was excellent, smooth, rich, and perfectly made. The place has such a cozy vibe, shelves of books, fun board games, and cool tables that make it easy to hang out and unwind. The staff was super friendly and kind, which made the whole experience even better. I really liked their hybrid service, you order at the counter, they bring everything to your table, and you bus your own dishes when you’re done. It’s relaxed but still feels well thought out. Honestly, it’s such a lovely spot. Wish we had a place like this in our neighborhood!
