Crema's Take
“The Dam Cafe is a beloved breakfast destination in Hadley where generous, satisfying omelets and solid coffee attract both locals and passersby looking for a warm, casual spot that won't break the bank. The counter-service setup keeps things efficient while maintaining a cozy, laid-back vibe, with staff who genuinely seem happy to have you there—whether you're lingering over espresso-focused drinks or grabbing something quick. Fair warning: stick to breakfast and avoid lunch if you want to feel good about your bill, but mornings here deliver real comfort and flavor that keeps people coming back.”

Would recommend for breakfast. It’s a nice, casual spot and prices are reasonable, all their breakfast items tastes good. Makes me happy. Lunch.. can be inconsistent and is overpriced imo. Especially, you'll never know when it's a hit or miss. Not bad overall, just know that breakfast is where this place shine.
I have always wanted to try this place, I pass it all the time and I like to support local businesses. I ordered a veggie omelet with ham and a medium cup of coffee. Came to about $17. Which is a little more than I pay for breakfast. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. However, the potatoes I received were a little over done. I don’t know if that’s how they serve it, but they were toasted (or fried) a little too much. They were not seasoned as well. The omelet was good no complaints there. Coffee tasted good. Although they give you a cup but I don’t think you can get a refill since it’s a foam style cup with lid. Overall experience not too bad. I was hoping more of a diner experience. But it seemed more cafe style. I’ll stick to my normal breakfast place (Lucky Strike). Better menu options and free coffee refills.
Place has a cool vibe and awesome coffee selection. Cafeteria style not waitress style. Staff were all pretty young and not super outgoing but not rude either if that makes sense. Portions were good and muffins are giant, inexpensive and made there with lots of flavor options and they'll grill it for you if you prefer!
A solid 4 cafe. The servers are incredibly friendly and attentive. I found the two people there the day I went to be super polite. You order at the counter to take out or they serve you at a table with numbers. I have a gluten and it’s doable here but very little variety. You can get an omelette. On the bright side, the meat lovers omelette is one of the best I’ve had! I guess they usually offer gf bread for toast or a sandwich but didn’t have it this day. The home fries appeared excellent but unfortunately they tasted “off”. My husband figured out that it was cooked in old rancid oil. It unfortunately ruined my meal. Even just a few bites. I’m going to assume this was a one off bad experience. The coffee was good and there was a lot of variety. Plenty of parking. And the place had plenty of seating this day. I would say I cautiously recommend this establishment.
Cozy spot. Grabbed breakfast while passing through the area. Very friendly staff I ordered the chicken fajita omelet and it was enormous! Almost couldn't finish it. Toast. Home fries. Delicious
