Crema's Take

This downtown Salem spot nails the cozy Italian café aesthetic with its striking black and white tile floors and genuinely warm baristas who seem to actually enjoy what they do. Their espresso-based drinks shine when they're on—think perfectly pulled cappuccinos and eggnog lattes—though the kitchen can struggle with speed and consistency on busier days. It's a charming, convenient gathering place with excellent pastries, particularly their square-shaped almond treats, though you might want to stick with their core espresso drinks rather than adventurous specialties.

Good coffee, but extremely slow service. 1 customer ahead of us and it took 15 minutes to get 2 cappuccinos.

Friendly staff and great atmosphere but $8 for the worst dirty chai I've had in my life :( my partner really didn't enjoy her mocha either, maybe we are snobs but there are definitely better spots in town for coffee

There are great friendly people working there in a very convenient location in downtown Salem. I just tried their eggnog latte and I am not disappointed.

This cafe has an Italian vibe. My coffee drink was perfect and the square-shaped almond pastry is amazing! The black and white floor tile is very neat.

I would like to consider myself a frequent customer. the baristas here are very friendly and charismatic. the truly act and show that they love their customers and there job. I come here and ask them to surprise me and they know their products. Any question and they are quick to answer. the stand is always very clean and put together. They are quick and calm under a rush. They get their pastry's fresh from Cascade Bakery down the road every morning. truly showing their support for other local business. they have an Italian style roast which is my favorite and they are always showing how proud they are of their products. Their lobby and tables have always been clean. Defiantly going to be returning and coming back here. Best coffee shop in town in my opinion.
