Crema's Take

Tucked away in Taos, this beloved neighborhood spot serves genuinely excellent coffee alongside show-stopping house-made pies that locals won't stop raving about. The small but welcoming diner atmosphere attracts a friendly community of regulars and travelers alike, while the baristas have a gift for making everyone feel like an old friend. Whether you're settling in with matcha and a pastry or grabbing a vegetarian sandwich to go, you'll find the kind of genuine warmth and quality that makes a place feel like a gem worth seeking out.

Koko's is just outstanding in every way. The people are nice and competent. The dine-in atmosphere is fine, not a huge place, but nice. But the thing that's truly outstanding is the pies. They are so good, it's just amazing. So good that we make trips from Colorado down to Taos, just to buy their pies. IMHO, the strawberry-rhubarb is the best, followed by the Peach. If this reads like a paid blurb, it's not. Just a genuinely delighted customer. Good coffee, too.

Stopped in for a quick coffee and a snack. Service was excellent and the baristas make you feel like you’re an old friend. Lots of vegetarian/ vegan options, as well as standard deli sandwiches and soups. The bakery here is what shines. Tried the sticky toffy pudding this time, and it was amazing. Coffee was also well made. Will definitely be back to try more of the bakery options.

This is a wonderful bakery and cafe. My wife (coffee drinker) loves their brews, I (tea drinker) appreciate their herbal tea selections, and we both love their pastries.

This is a really nice little coffee shop/deli located off the main street in Taos. Beautiful food that tastes great! Lots of to-go items for lunch as well. There's a decent bit of seating inside, and additional tables on the patio, although it's only counter-service. Top notch food and drinks!
