Le Bon Macaron
209 S 4th Ave, Ann Arbor, MI
Crema's Take
“This serene French-inspired café excels at both its namesake macarons—offered in rotating seasonal flavors like pumpkin crème brûlée—and beautifully crafted drinks like their signature lavender latte. The calming, gallery-like atmosphere with consistent branding and thoughtful music makes it the perfect spot to linger over pastries, whether you're meeting a friend or settling in with your laptop. What keeps people returning is the meticulous attention to detail: pristine presentation, polite staff, and the genuine care that goes into every visit.”

I love this little place. The macarons are always so pretty and my lavender latte is perfect every time! It's refreshing to find somewhere with consistent branding and quiet, atmospheric music that you can enjoy while getting your work done.
The second you get there you are hit with an amazing scenery, the theme of the store is calm, classy, and serene. It is very clean and looks as if it is tended to often. The workers there were very kind and serious about their work. They moved efficiently and thoughtfully and always looked at me with a smile. And the macarons were on a WHOLE another level. Each one was different than the other and creatively designed. They tasted fresh and absolutely deliciously sweet. I highly recommend that you visit this spot because it is truly a hidden gem 💎☺️.
I stopped by this bakery recently to try out some of their baked goods. The place was clean and had a nice, inviting smell of fresh bread and pastries when I walked in. The staff was polite and got my order ready pretty quickly. I tried a few items — the croissant was flaky and buttery, and the cookies were soft with a good flavor. Prices seemed reasonable for what you get. There wasn’t a huge selection later in the day, so it might be better to visit earlier in the morning for more variety. Overall, it’s a decent local spot if you’re in the mood for something freshly baked.
These are the best Macaron’s I’ve ever had. The place is beautiful inside, it almost doesn’t feel real. And they have so many flavors! For fall, they had the pumpkin crème brûlée and my boyfriend really enjoyed it. I can’t believe how tasty they are, and perfectly textured. This is dangerous as I work closeby! I will be back!
Best macarons in Ann Arbor! Rotating seasonal flavors, perfect size and bake, plus yummy drink options in store. Really cute vibes to sit and stay awhile, too. Always great customer service, and excellent gifting options.
