Basquet

Crema's Take
“Basquet is a deliberately curated coffee sanctuary in Miami where every element, from the meticulously sourced ingredients to the thoughtfully crafted cold foam, reflects a commitment to quality that extends beyond just the espresso. The warm, unhurried atmosphere invites you to linger over creatively executed specialty drinks and pastries like their sourdough cachitos, making it feel more like visiting a thoughtful friend's space than a typical café. It's not trying to be everything to everyone, but for those seeking genuinely excellent coffee paired with genuine hospitality, it's become an essential Miami spot.”

My favorite coffee in Miami. Hands down the best. The ingredients, coffee, cold foam, everything is made fresh with quality ingredients. The girls are always very kind too. They have a great selection of products.
I will start by saying the atmosphere, the vibe, and the service was excellent. I would definitely swing by here for a coffee or a baked good. I would definitely return to this establishment treating this more like a coffee kiosk. There are three small tables so not a place you can stay for long and do work at in such a close and limited environment. Though everything was beautifully stocked, there were no prices on any of the shelves. I got two coffees, jerky, and sardines and my total came to $36. A bit overpriced in my opinion, and I wish that prices were clear. The vanilla maple latte with cold foam was great, the pistachio milk Matcha not so great.
I visited Basquet today for breakfast and had such a great experience! I tried the sourdough cachito which was incredibly delicious and also had the matcha which was smooth and flavorful. The place is not only super aesthetic and cozy but they also sell high quality products that really stand out. You can tell they care about every detail. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back soon!
Basquet is not for everyone, I gotta say that. Some people call it a grocery store but they are not a grocery store. They just have several small shelves with a pretty limited number of items which are priced pretty high, in my opinion. However, I think it is an interesting concept and provided they positioned themselves next to Mimi Yoga, is a smart marketing strategy as it naturally carries that traffic for customers who are looking for these kind of natural and clean label kind of products. They are also a coffeeshop and that’s what I came for. My recommendation is to stick to the basis, otherwise your drink will become overly priced. I had an iced latte($5.45) with homemade cold foam (it’s a $2 add). The foam was delicious but it disappears quickly, so it is something I won’t get next time I’m back. Overall, I liked the coffee, I wish it was a bit more acidic, but it was nicely balanced, something I would drink everyday.
Basquet has quickly become one of my favorite coffee spots in Miami. The coffee is consistently great, and the staff is warm and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you can slow down, grab a drink, and actually enjoy the moment.
