Willow House Coffee & Community
1004 S Saunders St, Raleigh, NC
Crema's Take
“Willow House is a roastery-café where the espresso is dialed in with real precision, and their signature Salty Southerner—a smoky-sweet maple and salt creation—has rightfully earned cult status among regulars. The space strikes that rare balance of being both energizing and peaceful, with kind owners and knowledgeable staff, fresh pastries, and a children's play area that makes it genuinely family-friendly, whether you're settling in for a two-hour work session or catching up with a friend.”

Fantastic coffee shop and roasters. Salty Southerner was fantastic. Espresso is dialed in just right. Coffee cake was very yummy and fresh. Nice atmosphere. Staff was top notch, very friendly and knows their products well. Will be back as soon as I can.
We stopped by for some food and coffee. After reading the reviews, the salty southerner did not disappoint. The flavor of the dark maple syrup combined with the smokey salt is so good! My wife got the slugger and enjoyed that one too. Parking is limited and we did not really enjoy the food. The burrito was heavy on potatoes and black pepper and the sandwiches were a bit tough and dry. The breakfast is probably better earlier in the morning. We liked the space and friendly people, would come again!
They have a welcoming vibe with very friendly staff. There’s free two-hour parking conveniently located across the street. I didn’t love the Salty Southern Latte, it was a bit too smoky for my taste, but there are plenty of other options I’m excited to try. It’s a great stop for coffee before heading over to Dix Park. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
the owners were very kind and made our coffee. this was our first time and we loved our coffee. will be coming back! also loved the cute cups :) we got the gingerbread and the BBA maple syrup iced lattes! both were amazing
Great coffee! The cappuccino was delicious and perfect! The space is open and clean, but not too loud. Good place to get work done or meet with a friend. There is a children's play area with books too. Pastries are also good. Parking can be challenging. Bathrooms are clean.
