Crema's Take
“This cozy New Orleans breakfast spot operates out of a charming converted house where you'll walk through the kitchen to reach an intimate dining area filled with local artwork, creating an unforgettably unique atmosphere that guests rave about. Their creative takes on traditional Southern breakfast—like the Soulja Slim omelette and waffle sandwich with customizable components—pair beautifully with strong coffee, though be prepared for weekend crowds and snug seating that rewards early arrivals or online reservations. The genuine hospitality from staff and inventive house-made approach to classic dishes make it a favorite for leisurely weekend breakfasts and catching up with friends.”

Food was great! Gets crowded on weekends. They don’t honor reservations so not sure if it’s worth making one. Tables are small and it’s pretty tight inside. With all that being said, it was cool but not sure I would come back on a weekend
Soulja Slim omelette and the waffle sandwich sub pancakes broken down separately (eggs, protein). Shoutout to our server for suggesting that. The sandwich also came with grits. We had the crawfish boudin balls as well. Good food, with a friendly staff.
This is a small establishment with limited seating ,so best to get a table online. Super cute on the inside with great artwork on the walls.I ordered the catfish and grits with a side of turkey sausage. The catfish and grits were definitely good ,especially the catfish and how crispy and well seasoned it was.Definitely up to the standard HOWEVER, the turkey sausage i received was well over BURNT and the biscuit that came with the meal was also burnt at the bottom. Our server at first seemed like he was going to get things done but as the service went on it was terrible. If i ask you for the check why would you disappear for 10min and then skip our table to sit down and chat with a group?? I thought getting a refill of sweet tea would take 2 seconds but it took 5 min until i was just ready to go. When I was leaving the server refilled my tea BUT the tea that they poured in my cup was UNSWEET sweet tea in my cup and I instantly gagged. Their big back biscuit however definitely is the star of this place. Two biscuits that are covered in an orange creamy sauce with crawfish bites on top. I would definitely come back for those biscuits.
Absolutely fantastic. Great atmosphere. Totally unique setup in what I’m assuming was an old house. You walk in thru the kitchen area to a cool little dining area with a great vibe. Food was amazing. I had the shrimp and catfish and grits with etoufee gravy over my biscuit. Better than I expected it to be. Will 100% be back again.
Found this place on Google. Just looking for some breakfast on a Sunday early afternoon. I don’t actually know about the atmosphere because there was a 30 minute wait to be seated so we placed an order to-go. It took 30 minutes to get the to-go order. The food looked very appetizing. The waffle sandwich was lukewarm and the grits were not seasoned. The sausage was overcooked. The omelette was good with fresh vegetables but it too was not hot. The fresh fruit was sweet and juicy and the catfish po-boy was very hot and seasoned well. I guess it depends on what you order. I just think the breakfast food would have been better if it was hot. I also think it was expensive for the amount of food received.
