Crema's Take

Snowdrop brings authentic Korean bingsu culture to Tucson with meticulously crafted shaved ice that's fluffy and delicate, with toppings like matcha and misugaru mixed throughout rather than just scattered on top—creating a texture that literally melts on your tongue. The care they pour into every detail, from the perfectly balanced sweetness to the generous layering of toppings, has earned them a devoted following who can't believe this gem finally exists in their city.

You must try this treat! The shaver is loaded with your flavor choice already mixed in, not just poured over ice. Fascinating to watch. The texture of the snow just melts on your tongue and imparts wonderful flavors. Thankfully Snowdrop has kept the menu tight and focused on what they do best. The ingredients were very fresh and flavorful. I would start with the green tea or fresh strawberry first. The bowl is easily big enough to share, so start with one. The tea choices include tart plum, citris yuzu, ginger. Each of these drinks are refreshing and adventurous. The shop was kept spotless. Just look at the plating and presentation!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an awesome experience at Snowdrop Korean Shaved Ice! I started with the Misugaru shave ice cream — and wow, it was amazing — rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced. I followed it up with the Jujube hot tea, which was equally delicious, unique, and comforting. The space was clean and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this spot — I’ll definitely be coming back again for sure! 🍧🍵👏

Wow, I’m so happy! I can’t believe a Korean bingsu café finally opened in Tucson!!!!!!!!!!!! I ordered the matcha bingsu, and it was delicious, not overly sweet at all. I was honestly surprised by how affordable it was… for this portion size, I’d still happily buy it even if it were a bit more expensive. I’ll definitely be coming back soon to try the mango bingsu! Please keep this place open for a long, long time 🙏🏼

Snowdrop is a great new addition to Tucson. They’re still new and working on offering different sizes and carry out options. There’s a nice variety of options to choose from and the owner plans to expand the menu in time. They have definitely gained a regular customer from me, this is one of the only bingsu cafes in Tucson I am glad to have happened upon it. I won’t be making any more drives to phx when this is in our backyard! I ordered the misugaru which is a traditional Korean flavor with nutty sweet notes. The staff is very polite and the owner is very friendly. Great atmosphere to enjoy some Bingsu (Korean shaved ice) on a hot day.

I absolutely love this bingsu shop! The shaved ice has such a soft and fluffy texture. They really load up the toppings here too, it’s even layered throughout the snow so you don’t have to deal with any “naked” bites. I had the misagaru flavor which had plenty of nutty, delicious misa powder (toasted grains) and red beans. I’ve had my share of well know bingsu places such as Oakobing and Sul and Beans, and this one does not disappoint. The price to value ratio is reasonable; one bowl is a good amount for 2-3 people. The shop has plenty of seating options and a big table for larger parties. I will definitely be returning to try more items.
