Polar Bear Cafe

We stopped here before our trip up to Fairbanks for our honeymoon. The young man who helped us was amazing. I worked in the food industry for 10 years and one being a coffee shop, he killed it for how busy they were. But what really made us remember this place was the interactive nature of the young man. He said his mom is the owner but he was just a pleasure to talk to as he was making our drinks! Made our day for sure!

New favorite place to go to when stoned. Other stoners try a custom milkshake. I got a toaster marshmallow and coconut milkshake.

This was my first time visiting Polar Bear Cafe, and it was such a lovely experience! I ordered an iced caramel macchiato and it was so flavourful and just the right balance, not too sweet. The lady who took my order was so friendly and kind; she was very thoughtful as well and even provided me with an extra straw for if I needed it for stirring my macchiato. This little cafe is nestled right by the mountains of Chugiak, and is a drive-thru cafe but you're able to park in the lot and take in lush views. (Note: Seems to be the lot of a no longer in service gas station but the view of the mountain makes up for it, very beautiful!) Thank you so much for this lovely experience! :)

Got here on a Sunday. Ordered the breve. It was smooth and had a perfect taste balance. Didn't order any pastries. They also have a rewards punch card. Great location in front of the mountain easy for tailgate across an abandoned gas station. Great ambiance. Service is fantastic and very friendly. Will come again.

Such a cute little spot! Service and products are great! I love a place that listens when you ask for light ice too and my request has been granted each time I’ve asked so far(: 10/10
