Crema's Take

This Dupont Circle gem specializes in inventive flavor combinations that actually deliver—think strawberry matcha that tastes genuinely fruity and a vanilla rose foam that captures real rose water instead of artificial sweetness. The shop nails both traditional tea drinks and creative signatures in a cozy upstairs space with tower views and thoughtful music, making it equally perfect for a solo coffee moment or lingering with friends. Regulars rave that you can taste the quality in every sip, from their carefully sourced syrups to their standout matcha, and the late hours plus outdoor seating make it an easy neighborhood favorite worth returning to again and again.

best strawberry matcha in the city, plus the vanilla rose foam actually tastes like rose water! i rarely find that cafes capture that flavor profile well, so this is SUCH a treat!

Came here after I checked out my hotel next door and got the matcha cloud. The best matcha I’ve ever had! I wish I lived in dc I would be a regular customer. The seating outside was nice and so is the staff. I liked their music and upstairs area as well!

Genuinly have never gotten a drink from here I wasn't obsessed with. The quality of the syrups/flavors alone is outstanding, you can tell they aren't just cheap flavored syrups. The seasonal selections are always interesting and delicious. My only complaints are that I wish they had more milk options (skim and soy would be great!) And that they kept their absolute best drink (black sesame latte!) Around all year. Love this place!

Really cute place with creative menu and nice service. Upstairs was cozy with a good view from the tower. We stopped here after the O street museum nearby. Cool music, friendly staff, colorful decor, great bathroom, people of all ages.

Always on point, unique flavors and easiest access of all their locations. Pretty sure I've had the whole menu 😂I do miss the "Apple Chai" cider they had long ago. But they'll get six stars if they bring it back 😅
