Crema's Take

Tucked inside a building lobby in Seattle, Jin Jin Matcha is a bright little escape that takes their craft seriously, measuring out each drink's matcha in grams and offering creative flavors like pistachio and misugaru alongside classics. The team is genuinely warm and efficient, and their strong matcha paired with thoughtful sweetening options (like measured agave pumps) shows they're listening to what matcha enthusiasts actually want.

usually have a coconut milk iced matcha, but they didn’t have coconut milk. Most matcha places use coconut milk since it’s a popular choice. I asked for a non-sugary drink, but the woman seemed unfamiliar with the options. The matcha quality was quite average, and the ambiance wasn’t very aesthetic.

Cute little cafe inside building lobby! I tried their matcha latte with 1 pump of agave syrup. The matcha flavor was strong and I love that they specify how many grams of matcha goes into the drink. Excited to come back again and try their full menu.

Hojicha latte was not bad! They have a great soft opening menu between 3 different matchas, the usual flavors like strawberry/sesame/banana, and fun flavors like pistachio and misugaru. Service may be a little slower because they’re whisking by hand, but I appreciate that they honor the ritual over rushing it with an electric whisk and sacrificing the texture. But please, get rid of the obnoxious candle at the register! The fresh aroma of the tea is enough to make the place smell delicious.

Came during their soft opening and the line was not bad at all on a Saturday afternoon. Employees are very nice and service was quick! Their interior is clean and there is an atrium in the lobby to sit and enjoy the drinks. Would recommend their pistachio matcha!

Honestly I was so excited for Jin Jin matcha to open up near my office!! Behold my sadness when they weren't open last year, but then got to try them out in the new year! 🎉🎉 I got the misugaru matcha and it was so good ❤️ The misugaru's nuttiness shines at the first sip but the matcha flavor lingers at the end so that you can taste both flavors. The two flavors paired so well and honestly, it might be my new fav matcha combo 👀 Honestly so excited to go back and try out all the flavors soon!!
