Crema's Take

Detroit Vintage is a wonderfully curated refuge filled with vintage charm, plush seating, and an impressive collection of books that makes lingering over coffee feel like stepping into a cozy time capsule. Beyond their well-executed traditional coffees and teas, the standout here is the warm hospitality and Instagram-worthy vintage aesthetic that keeps guests coming back—whether for a quiet afternoon with a book, a meetup with friends, or simply to discover one of Detroit's best-kept secrets. The thoughtful pastries and matcha selections round out an experience that's equal parts specialty café and community gathering spot.

One of the cutest and most vintage cafes I've visited, offering a warm and inviting ambiance. The host is outstanding, and the cozy space features a wonderful collection of books to read, many of which are also available for purchase. I especially loved all the quotes displayed throughout the place about coffee & coffee lovers ❤️

What a simply lovely place. I’ve lived in Detroit my whole life and never knew this oasis was here! It took my friend sending me a TikTok for me to find it! But I’m so happy that I finally did! The presentation of the drinks and snacks are amazing, and the atmosphere makes you want to grab a book and get lost for hours. The ladies here are so kind and warm. I just love this place 🫶🏻
