Le Cache Dulcet
109 E Broad St, Richmond, VA
Crema's Take
“Le Cache Dulcet is a record-coffee hybrid in Richmond where the owner's passion shines through in homemade syrups, meticulous pour overs, and some of the city's most acclaimed matcha—all soundtracked by carefully curated music that makes lingering feel natural. While the specialty drinks command premium prices, reviewers consistently praise the quality ingredients and creative offerings like sweet potato lattes and salted caramel cold brews as worth every penny. This is the kind of place that rewards you for slowing down, whether you're flipping through vinyl, meeting a friend, or simply savoring a coffee that tastes like someone genuinely cared about making it.”

Friendly owner, great music, great coffee. The coffee is pretty expensive but uses good ingredients. Great place for getting some coffee and browsing records. Not your traditional coffee shop. Also FYI there is no food!
The best coffee and matcha in Richmond period. I’ve lived here over 10 years and have tried every coffee and tea shop in rva, this is hands down by far the best. All syrups are homemade and they are phenomenal. The coffee is pulled to perfection, it’s incredibly smooth and will make you say “woah” after your first sip. The music and ambience is really cool, in the back you’ll find the best priced and best selection of vinyl records in the city. Try this place and you’ll be back. Note- Oat milk is the standard for all drinks.
After hearing about this record/coffee shop for a while but I’m not local to Richmond. Finally took the trip—and it did not disappoint. I got the sweet potato latte and my friend had the matcha with ginger. Both were incredible, but that sweet potato latte might’ve just changed my life. Might need to move to Richmond just to have it more often. Come for the coffee and stay for the records and vibes 10/10.
Whoa! This place is so cool. 😎 What a great mixture of coffee and music. The pour over is amazing and so is the iced salted caramel latte. If you are ever in the city, please support and check this place out. Will be coming back to try more items on the menu.
We visited this amazing café and I’m so glad we did. I had the matcha—hands down one of the best I’ve ever had smooth, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. My husband tried a cold-pressed drink with caramel that was just as impressive. The vibe of the place is relaxed yet stylish, with a top-notch record selection that adds a lot of character. The decor is vibrant yet cozy, creating a space you actually want to spend time in. What really stood out was the service—the owner and his intern were both incredibly welcoming, attentive, and clearly passionate about what they do. It’s rare to find a spot with this much heart. We’re definitely coming back. This place is a true gem in Richmond.
